I am 35 years old my name is Yvette but friends call me Tea .I started this weight loss journey at 263lbs and something like 48% bf :'( a year and a half later I am 189lbs 30% bf My goal is to get down eventually to 12% bf, this is a guesstimation ( is that a word?) for where I think I would need to be to see how much loose skin I will have. I also want to do a figure competition, there is one in October here in Australia but we will see how things look when I get the last 35-45lbs of this off!I will post pics later, I wish I had some from when I began, but I moved to another country ( form the usa to australia) so I don't have any and they were really ugly anyway :P Today is upper body, I am working with a trainer once a week heres what today looks like: 7 min on the crosstrainer seated chest press machine 12 reps at 30 kilos 12 reps at 35k dumbbell chest press 15 reps at 10k shoulder press machine 12 reps at 20k seated rowing machine 12 reps at 22.5k narrow grip lat pulldown 12 reps at 37.5k 7 more min on the crosstrainer rope pull down thingy for triceps ( whats that called?) 12 reps at 25k standing dumbbell curls for biceps 12 reps at 6k each arm hovers for abs hold for 30 sec x2 16 more min on the crosstrainer This is quite a bit different from what I used to do, but this is what my trainer has me doing. My diet at the moment: Here is how I am curently eating: Meal 1: 4 egg whites 1 yolk with mushrooms and green onions, 1/2 c. oatmeal with a bit of splenda and skim milk ( this is pre-workout) Meal 2: protein shake mixed with water and green apple ( this is post workout) Meal 3: chicken breast or tuna and steamed broccoli Meal 4: protein shake mixed with water and 1/2 ruby red grapefruit with a bit of splenda Meal 5: chicken breast and salad Meal 6: protein shake mixed with water This is pretty much the same everyday I amy have tuna instead of chicken and almonds instead of the grapefruit, or a yam instead of oatmeal, but thats pretty much it. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | I changed up my diet a bit: basically I went to fitday.com and entered everything I eat so I could make sure I am getting the right amounts of everything. Here is the changes: Meal 1: 4 egg whites, 1c. mushrooms, 1 c. oatmeal with splenda and cinnamon Meal 2: protein shake with 1 c. oatmeal (post workout) Meal 3: chicken breast with 1 c. brown rice Meal 4: protein shake with a whole grapefruit Meal 5: chicken breast with 1 whole roma tomatoe, 2 c. lettuce, and 1c. broccoli Meal 6: 1 c. cottage cheese with 1/8 c almonds and sugar free syrup so that is what I am eating now. Today is lower body and I am late getting started I should have done that this morning. I have been off this past week and just felt like I needed a break since I have been at it for 3 months without a break, my period didn't help this either. I may just do my leg workout here instead of talking the time to go to the gym. I am struggling with smoking as well. My bf and I are quitting together on Monday so it should be much easier. This weekend is his birthday so there will probably be some drinking !

I took breaks a couple of times and I found it really helped me and I've come back even stronger! Smoking is a hard habit to break...I've known MANY people struggling to quit. I'm rootin' for ya!! Have a fun time celebrating your BF's bday. Live a little, it won't kill ya. ![]() ~D~

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Thanks guys We did have a really good time. We just got back a bit ago, its Sunday night and I am soo ready to get back with it again. I have have had a weekend of reckless eating and I feel bloated and fat. We have a big party coming up in 3 weeks and I want to work really hard and try to get into those Dam size 12's by then. My bf Dan and I are both quitting smoking tomorrow... this is going to be hard, but not as hard as me trying to quit by myself ....:fingersxd My Plan for tomorrow.... 1. crystalize my goals and get back to visualizing the changes and looking how I want to look 2. Drink at least a gallon of water, I am so dehydrated right now... 3. Eat all 6 meals at the right times 4. get to the gym by 10:15 and get my workout done or I may just get up and go straight there, I need all the fat burning help I can get! Workout hard!! 5. get a multi vitamin and start taking it!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | so far so good I have one more meal left for the day, Got into the gym early and did legs today, and I have had 8 cups of water, not as much as I should have, but then.. I am used to none. I picked up a multi vitamin at the store today as well. My meals were almost exactly as planned. ohh and I have not had one cigarette today .. w00t!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Got up early and got to the gym right away, did 20 min on the xtrainer-- that really kicked my ass it was sooo hard, then I did 10 min on the bike doing intervals 6,7,8,6,7,8,9,10,6,6. I am still quite sore from yesterdays workout. My meals have been right on time, and I still have not had one cigarette--- go meee! 2 meals down 4 more to go!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Thanks Free, 2nd day with no cigarette... I did end up having a 99% fat free Mr Whippy ice cream... it probably had a lot of sugar I am having really bad cravings and I don't know why, I swear the first 100 lbs was easy its this 35-45 thats killing me!Tea

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Thanks Free, I thought I was just going crazy for some reason I didn't connect the quitting smoking with the cravings, I almost went and got some last night but didn't :S I am doing cardio everyday and just trying to keep my hands busy, thanks again for the encouragement! I eneded up having a Mr. Whippy 99% fat free ice cream cone yesterday probably had a boatload of sugar in it but I ate clean AND ON TIME hich is a major deal for me :P

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | ooh Heres Monday workout :S 6 min in the crosstrainer leg press 12 reps @ 95k 10 reps @ 105k 12 reps @ 110k crosstrainer for 7 min dumbbell lunges 12@ 16k ham curls 10@ 35k leg extensions 10@35k for abs: hovers 2 x 1 min each ball crunches 2x 12 reps 7 more min on the crosstrainer
