Default Scientific American: The Illusion of Gravity

Wow, I just saw this article. (I didn't read it yet, but the title holds tremendous importance to weight lifters, so I wanted to share.) I can imagine a 400 lbs. squat next Tuesday. Heck, if I can rid myself of the illusion of gravity, who knows what I can do?

I will read it and get back to you. I know you are on the edge of your press benches.

Actually, when I read the thread title, I was thinking "Gravity isn't an illusion! My ass really is closer to the ground!" Looking forward to your review.

Oh, and judging from your avatar, I'd say gravity isn't effecting you adversely. I'll try to send some of mine your way.

hahaha, thanks, Hibbie.

I read the article. A lot of talk about various dimensioned universes that I don't really understand. I think if we get too close to the edge where ours turns into another we will lose gravity and one dimension. Of course that means doing resistance training will become impossible. Try to do weight lifting with no weight and no vertical dimension.

I am going to the gym. I am going to stay in the middle of the room, that way no chance of slipping into some flatland universe.
