Default On the road again.....

Did the worst thing a man could do to himself.........bought a Harley. Lifting, running, work, wife, kids........everything in life has been put on hold. Me and my buddy Ray(owns a Fat Boy) just cruisin' around enjoying the beautiful scenery of Autumn here in western Pennsylvania. Ya' know, its like being re-born, the excitement, adrenalin and ending up where ever the road takes you. Stopping in little country towns for a coffee and sandwitch, no hassels, deadlines, or stress.....just the thump of the big V-twin. It's not my fault.....three weeks ago the wife say's to me, "Why don't you buy that Harely you always wanted?" I've been riding Jap bikes the past 30+ years but never had a Harely, so I fould the deal of a lifetime and jumped on it. Man....if you really want get out of that 50 year mid life crisis.....get a Harely. Life does begin at 50.

Hi Captain!

I don't think I am going to try to learn to ride at my age, but a blond and a surfboard aren't out of the question.

Good to see ya.

Sounds like a blast! Makes me miss my bike even if it was a crotch rocket. I just loved the freedom. Have fun recharge and come back stronger then ever!

You make me wish my husband still had his harley! It was almost like being there with you on that ride reading your post.
Bad thing is, the last time I was on his, someone tried to run up our ass and he had to hit gravel the wrong way and dropped the bike almost. I ended up with third degree burn on my right calf and the skin totally ripped off the calf!
My leg hit the pipe!
Finally after about 10 yrs. the scar it not as visible.
But, I enjoyed riding on the harley so you are right it is a great experience and the feeling of freedom is a wonderful feeling!
It sounds like maybe you are going through a mid life crisis.
If so, enjoy it! It sounds like at least you are doing it in a harmless, fun way.
Congratulations on getting the harley and like I said have fun Capt. America. :bigthumbu And be careful! People driving do not seem to have any repspect for bikers! They drive like you aren't even on the road!
Good Luck and have fun Capt.!

Brenda
