Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 19 | I think they're called "split" squats when they're done in the Smith. Lunges only travel if you do walking lunges. Static lunges are also ok and you can do them with an olympic bar that you hold between your legs (this takes all strain off your back). I like walking lunges, personally. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | I like walking lunges ("death walks" is what they call 'em at my gym) better too. I can feel them more in my legs and ass. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Hey joed! Where would we be without dbflgirl? But you know something, I'm still looking for HER journal..... hmmmm.... Happy Friday everyone. Had a good workout this morning, doing bis and tris and then 20 mins. on the treadmill... which I hate! Got to the office this morning and the boss' wife brings "breakfast" into the production meeting. She picked up some kind of sandwich that had egg, sausage, bacon and cheese. And none of it tasted like egg, sausage, bacon and cheese. I ate half of it to be polite and now feel I have to go to the bathroom and stick my fingers down my throat. Excuse me.... |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Good Monday Morning to ya! Hope everyone had a nice, restful weekend. Went to the gym on Sat. morning and had a good leg workout. Glutes and quads are still sore! So yesterday I'm outside working in the yard and listening to an oldies station when Don McLean's "American Pie" comes on. So I'm singing along and half-way through I'm thinking "WTF is this song about?" So last night I Googled it and come to find out, even McLean's not totally sure what the hell he was writing about! (J/K) He's never given an explanation, but there are several theories that he says come close to the song's meaning. Interesting. Look it up sometime when you have nothing to do . . . like when you're at work. So what did you guys do this weekend? |

Today was indoor cycling and the popularity of the Wednesday class is getting ridiculous. The class starts at 5:30 a.m. and if you're not there by at least 5:15, you ain't gettin' a bike! I think I'll have to start sleeping at the gym on Tuesday nights. | |
