OK WOOT i had a great workout!!!!!!

Week 3:

Horizontal Push/Pull:

Rack Pulls:
w/u: 1x4 @ 185lbs, 1x4 @ 205lbs
1x5 @ 230lbs, 1x5 @ 240lbs, 1x5 @ 250lbs !!!

bent over rows:
2x8 @ 125lbs

flat bench press:
w/u: 1x5 @ 85lbs, 1x5 @ 105lbs
3x4 @ 110 lbs, 1x3 @ 110 lbs

flat db flyes:
2x8 @ 23lbs

ok i started with the rack pulls...let me just say one thing about using the cinder blocks for my rack. they work GREAT when you dont have to switch out the weight on the barbell but once you have to switch the weights you have to take the bb off the blocks and then re-rack it for the next set. this makes the first rep a deadlift basically. what a workout!
ok i am so proud of my racks today...once i got to the 250 for the last set of 5 i was really feeling like a strong bitch! i cant wait to see what it feels like to do 400!! im not even sure what my pr is for these...ill have to scroll wayyyy back and look for it.

bb rows were challenging for 2 sets of 8 reps with the 125lbs...i think i can increase this soon though!

flat bench press was good today! i warmed up with 85lbs EASY EASY...then i upped the weight by 20lbs to 105 and it was a lot harder. amazing how much harder it is for me to push than pull!!
i upped the weight just a tad for the last 3x4 and since i didnt do 3x5 i felt guilty and added 1 more set of 3 reps to total 15 reps for the whole deal....lol

flat db flyes were last. these arent hard but they arent easy either. 23lbs on the dbs is just fine.

great workout!!! yay!

Quad dominant w/ biceps:

box squats:
w/u: 1x5 @ 105lbs, 1x5 @ 130lbs
1x5 @ 140lbs, 1x5 @ 150lbs, 1x5 @ 160lbs

SLDL: 1x10 @ 130lbs oops

lunges:
3x5 @ BW

SLDL:
2x10 @ 130lbs

bb curls:
1x5 @ 45lbs, 1x5 @ 50lbs, 1x5 @ 55lbs

drag curls:
2x10 @ 35lbs

wow im toast...

box squats went really great!
i accidentally did 1 set of SLDL after the squats but then caught my snap and did lunges next...then did another 2 sets of SLDL

curls went fabulous...i love doing curls....i know i know...but i do

well crapity i felt a weird feeling in my abdomenal area after lifting yesterday so i am taking a few days off to assess...im hope hope hoping i didnt get a hernia....but im still so fat im not sure i would even know if i had one! SUCKS not having insurance! CRAP i didnt even CONSIDER this but the other day i was doing my RC prehab and was laying on the bench kinda straight out to do the drop sets of rear delt raises when i felt a lingering TEARING feeling in the abdominal area. i immediately got up from the bench and grabbed the area that felt weird...i didnt feel any bulging but honestly my abdominal area is my worst quality...its where i hold all my stress related fat....and its almost so horrible i would even consider IT a hernia! after 3 kids and a lot of dysfunctional living i am apalled at the way my body has reacted. at any rate all of that is my fault and i was unable to really know if i had had a legitimate injury or not! WTF? thats just insane! if anything my quest to get fit has SO MUCH to do with the way my body is reacting to getting old! nothing is as easy as it used to be and i am only just almost 40!
damn i wish i was rich i'd get SO much help! LOL....
but im not....so what can i do?
well to start i guess i can really kick myself in the ass for losing my motivation when i had already lost so much weight in 2003-2005....i did SO GREAT...amazingly great actually and only because i was MOTIVATED.... but slowly but surely i slipped back into old habits and stopped fighting for my life. course amid this battle i was also battling alcohol addiction...which i have beat...and i am now facing this situation from a whole new angle!
i am only just now realizing that this is one of my LAST chances to really get a grip on my weight and build some muscle and get a plan for life on how to eat! i KNOW i can do it i just have to really concentrate...hahhahaa
but im more than willing...im gonna do everything i can to lose this weight and be more comfortable in my own skin! sucks being uncomfortable in your own skin doesnt it? im DONE with that! time to firm up and kick ass even if i have to do massive amounts of cardio...hahahhaaaaaa...kidding i hope...hahahahaaa
