| Pink Members | i just finished my workout! heres what i did: squats: 140x5x3 db lunges: 20x5x3 db SLDL: 55x8x2 bb curls: 60x5x3 hammer curls: 20x8x2 post lifting cardio: 10 min i started with the squats....man oh man i am so glad my makeshift squat rack works so well! i loaded up 140lbs and all 3 sets of 5 went pretty good! i am STOKED! db lunges were super hard today with 20lb dbs in each hand...i swear by the 5th rep on every set i wanted to die...hahah db SLDL was AWESOME! ever since ileen critiqued my deadlift i realized that i have been pulling back instead of simply straightening up....so i made a conscious effort to use correct form with the SLDL and holy crap it was a LOT harder! ROCK ON! i am super pleased at my 60lb bb curls! no swaying or cheating!that last set was CHALLENGING! hammer curls were challenging too...man that last set of 8 burned!!! immediately following the workout i hopped on the exercise bike for 10 min and now we are out the door to go swim! yippee!! KICKASS workout! |

Verticle Push/Pull: narrow grip pulldowns: 110x5x3 db pullover: 58x8x2 military press: 90x5x2, 90x4x1 bb cuban press: 25x8x3 db L-Lateral raise: 8x8x1 side laying db abduction to 45 degrees: 8x12x2 i started with the narrow grip pulldowns....110 is getting easier! i used nice slow negatives and really felt like i got a great workout on these! id like to incorporate more pulldowns into this particular workout but i dont know of any...ill have to do some research and find one to add... db pullover was awesome...the 58lb was challenging! military press was GREAT! i really made an effort to go kinda slow on these...paused at the top and bottom and OMG that made it like 50 times harder! i made it through the first 2 sets great but reached failure on the last set at the 4th rep. man my shoulders were freakin screaming! next i did some RC stuff...since i am getting heavier in my lifts i think its beneficial to prehab as much as possible to avoid any strains or whatnot....shoulder pain BITES! so anyhoooo obviously since its RC stuff the weights are very light...the cuban press burned like crazy on all 3 sets! whoa!! haha...next were the db L-laterals...just 1 set on these....then right into the side laying db abduction to 45 degrees...these babies burned like crazy too! whohooo! immediately after lifting i got on the bike for 10 minutes! great workout! |

| Pink Members | TODAY IS DAY 50!!!!! ....weight is only down a pound this week...i am surprised to even see that considering i was so bloated last night! maybe next week we will see a better drop in that scale weight... measurements went weird today....i only lost 1.25 inches this week....1 inch from my hips ( YAY) and 1/4 of an inch from my shoulders! other than that i am the same or even UP a little in inches all over...guess thats where the bloat comes in? i do know i am recomping my body and who knows what its pattern is...ill just go with the flow and expect good things for next week... heres what i did last week: Day 43: 20 empty/15 cycles of 8SOD..........1860.........57/7/37 Day 44: 20 empty/hammies w/ triceps/10 post....1968...58/5/37 Day 45: horizontal push/pull..........................1505............44/6/50 Day 46: 30 empty...........................................16 29............52/5/43 Day 47:25 empty...quads w/ biceps....10 post...938....39/8/53 Day 48: REST.............................................. ........1981....63/8/29 Day 49:20 empty/verticle push/pull/10 post........1901....54/9/36 |

SLDL: 155x5x3 bb stepups: 115x2x8 close grip bench press: 105x3x5 skullcrushers: 55x8x2 i started with the deads....these went great with the 250....i almost lost my grip that last set of 3 but all in all they went really well! whohooooo on the PB! SLDL were great at 155....nice burn! bb stepups were goooood. i cleaned the barbell for the first set but didnt feel like doing it again...hahah...i put it on the racks after the first set and then just reloaded for the second. close grip bench press went perfect with the 105! yay! skullcrushers were really hard today....i am not sure i am using the right grip on these....do you use a pronated or suppinated grip on these? i opted OUT on all cardio today...but great workout!! |
