i finished my 20 min on empty! yay! now its back out to the camphouse to finish cleaning the pool!!

just finished my workout! yay!!

heres what i did:

horizontal push/pull:
back/chest/calves

rack pulls: 3x5 ~ 200lbs
bent over rows: 2x8 ~ 85lbs
flat bench press: 3x5 ~ 105lbs
incline db bench press: 1x8 ~ 45lbs, 1x8 ~ 40lbs
db standing calf raises: 2x12 ~ 40lbs

post lifting cardio: 15 minutes

i was SO SLOW starting out today! but i loaded up the barbell and after that first set of 5 i was feeling better! by the last set of 5 i was feeling fantabulous!!! whohoooo!!!
bent over rows were awesome! these are really starting to feel easier with the 85! so kewl!
flat bench press was next....today i made a point to pause at the bottom and then lift up....man that makes a huge difference! it was MUCH harder!!!! i got through all the sets without failure though! WOOT!
incline db bench press was next....i was feeling strongk so i started with the 45lb dbs....i was able to make all 8 reps but i swear if i had had one more to do i would have failed! i lowered to 40lb dbs for the last set of 8. killer burn!
db standing calf raises was last...nothing exciting about these...haha...but they got done!

immediately after lifting i hopped on the exercise bike for 15 minutes!

GREAT WORKOUT!

its friday! yay! DAY 33!

i am taking the kids to see Transformers at noon!!



my weight is up by about 5 lbs this morning so i know TOM is VERY close...seems like i was just dealing with water retention LAST week....my stupid body sure does love that stuff! im not freaking out though....i know i havent cheated or slacked off on my workouts so we are good....just retaining....i can even feel the water in my ankles! yuck! my calories WERE high last night but that wouldnt be how i gained 5 lbs overnight...hahahaa....



whaddayado right? i just gotta STAY FOCUSED...the water retention will go eventually....

I'm taking my girlfriend to the drive-in tonight to see Harry Potter. :clapping: I didn't pick the movie, however, she did. I rather see the transformers.

Maybe you found the 5lbs. I lost last week. I was eating some granola cereal and broke off a supporting tooth for my bridge. Needless to say I didn't eat too well until the dentist fixed me back up.

ouchie mactech i guess you really COULD use some vodka! hahah!!

we saw HP last week...it was pretty good for a HP movie....im TOTALLY looking forward to the Transformers though...its gonna ROCK!

well i just finished my workout even though an hour ago i was thinking i wouldnt do it...hahaha! i couldnt sit still....couldnt relax! yay! isnt guilt a wonderful thing?


heres what i did:

quad dominant w/ biceps:

db squats: 3x5 ~ 50lbs
walking lunges: 3x5 ~ BW
db SLDL: 2x10 ~ 50lbs
db curls: 1x5 ~ 20lbs, 2x5 ~ 25lbs
db hammer curls: 2x8 ~ 25lbs

post lifting cardio: none

i started with the squats....50lbs on each side is GREAT!! all 3 sets felt fantastic!
walking lunges were really nice! i am getting better at these!
db SLDL REALLY felt fabbbb! i got a KILLER BURN!
db curls were good too....the 20lb db was too light so i added 5 lbs and it was perfect!
hammer curls felt wonderful!

GREAT WORKOUT!
