| Pink Members | well hubby and i went to the grocery store this afternoon while the kids were still asleep....LOL...before the store we stopped over and visted his son, son's finacee and our grandson....its always so nice to see that sweet baby! i held him and he fell asleep on my shoulder....i LOVE THAT! his mommy, abby, says he only does that with me and her! heheheh! gawsh that made me feel special.... hubby was irritating me though....he always treats me a little different when we are around his son....i am always the brunt of any jokes and he likes to pick on me....but today i just wasnt feeling it so i got irritated....he asked me why and i told him and then he didnt like my answer so he got mad at ME...hahah....go figure...by the time we got home from the grocery store i was just plain pissed at him and he knew it....he sat there and drank beer until he fell asleep on the couch....i decided to ignore him and went out and did my workout....i feel MUCH better....if he wants to be an asshole thats fine but im not going to let myself get all upset over it....ESP when i know tomorrow he wont even remember it and he'll act as if it never happened even if he does remember it.... i did the right thing for myself and lifted instead of drinking alcohol! yay me!! hehehe!! heres what i did: hip/hammie dominant w/ triceps: deadlifts: 3x5 ~ 200lbs SLDL 3x5 ~ 115lbs front squats: 2x8 ~ 65lbs close grip bench press: 3x5 ~ 95lbs skullcrushers: 2x8 ~ 55lbs standing db triceps extentions: 2x8 ~ 20lbs post workout cardio: 10 minutes i started with the deads....200lbs was nice! i had a good grip and never felt like i might fail! AWESOME! SLDL were really really easy at 115lbs....ill have to up the weight next time.... front squats were HARD! i dont ever do these so they will take some getting used to...i like the burn i got though....its weird holding the barbell in front... close grip bp was perfect! i LOVE this lift! skullcrushers were VERY challenging! man i love the burn i get doing these babies! last i did the standing db extentions....both sets went fine! immediately following the workout i jumped on the exercise bike for 10 minutes....i would have gone longer but hubby came into the bedroom right at the 10 minute mark and wanted to lay down...the exercise bike makes too much noise though so i quit at 10 minutes.... i feel great!! |

| Pink Members | good morning! its monday thank gawd....LOL...im so glad hubby had to go to work....isnt that EVIL of me? i just know if he stayed here today we would fight....im VERY emotional today....distance is a VERY GOOD THING! good news though.....even though my weight is still up a bit on the scale and my ankles are still a bit swollen my weight has started dropping on the scale so i am sure by next week we can get an accurate reading on the scale weight....i took my measurements today....day 22... and am THRILLED that i lost inches EVERYWHERE! heheheheeeee! neck= .5 chest= 2 abs= 1 waist= 1 thighs= .5 knee= 1 ??????? calf= .25 upper arm= 1.5 that makes a grand total of 7.75 inches this last week! wowzers thats amazing! i dunno how someone actually loses an INCH off their knees...hahah....but ill take it....and i am THRILLED at the upper arm loss! the biceps are really starting to eat that fat! yay!! needless to say i am super happy about the progress in my body composition changes!!!! |

| Pink Members | ok well i am having SERIOUS cravings tonight! i ended up mixing a Tbs cream cheese w/ 2 sweet n low and 2 Tbs cool whip for a sweet low carb snack...it was pretty damn good! i also ate a LOT of steak tonight...gawd i love steak!! i know my calories are a tad high tonight but i dont care....they could have been way worse just 23 days ago! LOL.... i think im going to bed so i dont eat anything else!! heh! heres my macros: Total: 2061 Fat: 126 1134 56% Carbs: 43 106 5% Fiber: 16 0 0% Protein: 197 786 39% Alcohol: 0 0 0% obviously i didnt lift today....all i did was my cardio this morning on empty! but thats ok! tomorrow i will kick ass!!! |

| Pink Members | whew ok....i just finished my workout and i feel mucho better! heres what i did: horizontal push/pull: back/chest/calves rack pulls: 3x5 ~ 200lbs bent over rows: 1x8 ~ 80lbs, 1x8 ~ 85lbs flat bench press: 3x5 ~ 105lbs incline db bench press: 2x8 ~ 40lbs standing calf raises: 2x15 ~ BW post workout cardio: 15 min on bike whoohooo! i started with the rack pulls....these went great today....that last set was almost too much but i focused and made it through! i have SERIOUS calluses on both my hands today from these! i would also like to say how pleased i am to be lifting without gloves or straps...a year ago i couldnt hold a 200lb barbell in my hands without straps! yay me! hehe! i started with 80lbs today for the bent over rows....these were too easy....even going very slow and holding at the top....so i increased to 85lbs and was challenged for the last set! flat bench was GREAT! the first 2 sets were smoooooth....the last set was a little shakey but i maintained focus and pushed through....KILLER! incline db bench was fabulous! i used 40lb dbs for these! thats a personal record! woot!! standing calf raises were fine...maybe a little too easy with just BW but i still got a great burn! immediately after lifting i hopped on the bike for 15 minutes cardio! GREAT WORKOUT! |
