| Pink Members | i woke up this morning feeling fantaaaaaabulous! man oh man my upper back....pecs and abs are totally trashed today! it feel so sooooooooo good to be sore! hahaha! today i will do quads and biceps....owie owie owie!!! squat hell today! gotta love those noodle legs! i have to be at the neighbors in a little while....they are going out of town again and i have to get them packed up and ready....after that i will get home and get to the workout! my eating has been TOTALLY LC....no cheats at ALL....i am really happy to be in this place right now and i hope it stays put.... ....as long as i can sustain from getting cozy with Mr. Vodka i think ill be ok..... but damn i love mr. vodka.... ......but i can restrain myself i think....maybe in a few weeks ill reward myself with a few....but not NOW.....i have to be more solidified in my routine....and maybe by then i can talk myself out of it! | Pink Members | ok! i got my neighbor off on her trip and then got home and got right to the workout! heheh!!! heres what i did: Quad dominant (w/ hammie accessory) + biceps: ATF squats: 5x5 ~ 90lbs split squats: 3x8 ~ BW good mornings: 1x8 ~ 85lbs...2x8 ~ 70lbs barbell curls: 5x5 ~ 45lbs drag curls: 3x8 ~ 35lbs incline db curls: 3x8 ~ 15lbs i started with the squats...i cleaned the barbell for all 5 sets! all 5 went fantastic....those last few reps in set 5 were KILLER!! i decided to try something new today and throw in spilt squats...at first i had a hard time getting my foot comfortable behind me on the bench but after i put a towel under it i was good and basically nothing but the toes were touching....these spilt squats KILLED ME! OMG i thought i was giving myself a break by switching from lunges today to spilt squats...no way! there was practically no difference! ACK! hahahaha! i managed to get through all 3 sets....with a lot of grunting and screaming....lol....the neighbors MUST think i am insane! after the ss i moved into my hammie accessory...good mornings...i started too heavy with 85lbs....i mean i got through the set aiight but i still felt it was a tad too heavy so i lowered the weight to 70lbs and really felt much much better....i cleaned the barbell for all 3 sets of these as well...heh... barbell curls were next....i loaded up 45lbs and went for it....it was PERFECT! by the last set i was challenged but not to failure...i was PUMPED after these! damn i LOVE my biceps! hehehehee! drag curls with the barbell were next....these i use a lighter weight with but get a helluva burn every set! if my boobs werent so huge i think these would be easier but the damn barbell has to go over mt.pammies before it is done so its WAY tougher at that part! damn these boobs! LMAO last were incline db curls....i havent done these in awhile....wow were they challenging.....i only used 15lbs on each db too and was still challenged! GREAT WO!!! i drove to the store right after my workout to get a drink and a few scratch cards....this guy was walking out when i was pulling up...he saw me and acted like he knew me....said " hey girl! how the hell ARE you?" i just smiled and said "hi!" (i actually get people i dont know saying hi to me all the time....) i bought what i planned to buy and when i went out to get in my car the guy was parked next to my car and was waiting there....as i walked up he said "how the hell are you?" i said " do i know you?" he said "yeah youre that girl that used to work at that store...i remember you perfectly...you had such a wonderful personality..." i said "what store was that?" he couldnt remember...then he said...."hey hun can you help me out? im flat broke and my wife is out of work...can you spare any cash?" i said "dude im broke sorry..." he said " you dont even have a dollar?" i was like " well, you can have these 4 quarters i have here but thats all i got..." the minute i gave him the quarters he tried to hand me some kind of drawing...he said "im trying to sell some of my art"....i said "sorry dude im not interested"....and then my dog barked at him through the car window and he got a scared look on his face....he said " GOD DAMN thats a huge dog...what kind is he? " i said " hes a pit bull" and proceeded to get in my car and lock the door...he drove off and i waited until he was totally gone before i drove to my house....he gave me the creeps! theres so many weirdos out there you cant be too careful yanno?? UGH! GET A LIFE!! whew ok rant over....haha i feel great today but i have noticed that weird throat flutter a few times today....i wonder if it coincides with my cycle somehow? im begining to think maybe... ok ill be back soon! hugs! |

From personal experience, I have found that doing something constructive and fun is the best to avoid relapse into old patterns of behaviour...and that's exactly what drinking or binge eating (in my case) is...a behavioural problem. I'm not an expert or anything Pammie, but I'm telling...if you do that "drink reward" thing...you WILL fall back into old habits and lose the fire you have found recently. | Pink Members | happy saturday everyone! man i am so feeling good! i slept like a rock last night and then went back to bed this morning after i took my oldest son to saturday detention....i fell asleep and slept until NOON! hehehehe....yeahhhhh baby! feels great to get caught up on my sleep!:clapping: i havent decided if i will workout today or not.....i only planned to lift for 4 days a week but i guess i need to throw in some cardio.....puke....we'll see.....i might just lift....hahahhaaaa....i hate cardio with a passion but i know if i wanna get lean i have to do it.....uuuuuggggghhhhhh...... eating is SOLID! i am so pleased with myself! what a GREAT feeling! |

| Pink Members | i had a great workout! heres what i did: verticle push/pull back/shoulders/calves close grip pulldowns: 3x5 ~ 100lbs, 2x5 ~ 90lbs rear pulldowns: 1x8 ~ 80lbs, 2x8 ~ 65lbs db pullover: 3x8 ~ 40lbs military press: 1x5 ~ 65lbs, 4x5 ~ 75lbs db one arm shoulder press: 3x8 ~ 25lbs front raises: 3x8 ~ 25lbs seated calf raises: 3x15 ~ 115lbs whohoooo! i started with the cable pulldowns...the first 3 sets went pretty good with the 100lbs but by the 4th and 5th set i lowered to 90lbs and was really able to get a much better burn.... rear pulldowns were next...i started too heavy with the 80lbs but i got through the set....my shoulders were starting to hurt though so i knew it wasnt the right weight....when i switched to 65lbs i felt MUCH better and was able to go nice and slow and squeeze at the top....man those las |
