| Pink Members | man busy morning! i got what i needed to get done done and now i am trying to figure out why my printer isnt printing...it detected the new cartridge but when it prints nothing comes out on the page dammit....its driving me nutso! hahaha i contacted my sons principal today and scheduled a group conference with all of my sons teachers...i just want to get with them and explain how important i think it is that we all get on the same page and work together to help my son do better in school. hopefully he will see how serious we are about his schooling and step up and do what he needs to do to succeed! i have to go pick everyone up and get my son started on his project and then i will workout....ive been simmering a huge pot of pinto beans on the stove all day long with a hambone in them and they smell fantastic! beans and cornbread for dinner! well, maybe not cornbread, but beans for sure!! eating has been great today! i had 6 oz tuna + 1 Tbs mayo + 4 pineapple rings for meal 1.... sugarfree chocolate covered almonds for a snack.... 2 small salisbury steaks leftover from last night + 1 c. lettuce + 1/2 small tomatoe + 2 Tbs ranch dressing for lunch... so far so good!! |

| Pink Members | morning! well last night i never got to the leggie workout so this is one of the most important things i want to accomplish today! i stayed up late helping my son with his biology project...THANKFULLY he got it done...but OMG was it a majorly stressful event! once he finally realized that no matter what i wasnt going to DO the damn thing for him...and that i wasnt going to go away either...hahaha....he bucked it up and did it! yay! he learned a lot, i think, and i KNOW i did! DNA is way kewl! i am so glad i stuck to my guns and made that project happen...if i would have relaxed and let him work on it in his room it never would have gotten done....so i made him work in the kitchen so i could watch him and make sure he did it right...and he did! whew!! hopefully he will get it together and do well this 6 weeks....i REFUSE to let his grades ever get that bad again..... anyhooooo....about 10pm i took 2 benedryl because my sinus' were causing me grief....lol...i wrote out my workout and even went into the kitchen and prepared to get started....i stood there getting ready to clean the barbell and realized that the allergy meds were kicking in BIGTIME and i was going to have to go lay down and sleep! seriously i forgot how much those benedryl knock my ass out....hahaha.....i was out like a light SOLID....gawd it felt GREAT! i was so zonked i didnt even feel guilty for not doing the workout....hahahaaa....even though i do remember feeling guilty as i was making my way OUT of the kitchen and straight into bed....hahahhaaa.... at around 2am i heard talking in the livingroom so i got up to investigate....it was my son on the phone with some girl! UGH! he was sitting there talking to her and was also on myspace chatting it up with like "30" different girls! GEEZ is he thinking with his "other" head or WHAT? OMG i am not ready to have a son old enough to date and all that...yikes! i made him go to bed but after that i couldnt go back to sleep very well...tossed and turned until sleep finally found me again....just in time for hubby to wake me up! damn! hahahaha....just 5 more minutes???????? oh well...hehehe....after that i got up and had to get the kids up and ready for school...took them all to school, went to the bank, etc etc and am now sitting here contemplating my day! i think first i will run to town and get groceries...after that i will workout for SURE before i go get the kids from school! i also have to go out to the camphouse and clean out the pool sometime today but i think ill most likely do it after school....we'll see.... eating was great yesterday! i had some cravings but not as bad as the first day...haha...i ate some sugarfree chocolate covered almonds as a snack early in the day and then later on that night i had a sugarfree hot chocolate while helping my son with his project....but those 2 things are way better than me drinking alcohol or overindulging in whatever was around! for dinner i had a bowl of pinto beans and ham...YUM....2 corn muffins.....double YUM.... today will be super successful! i just have to stay focused and remember WHY i am doing this! for MYSELF! all i am trying to do at this point is change my eating habits...if i can just try to lighten up my portions a tad and to eat more fruits and veggies....as well as sticking with whole grains....i think my body will respond in a positive way. i am also trying to keep my carbs fairly low, but im not going to major extremes or anything....im trying to ease into this like i have been advised to do....lol...overall i feel very positive about my success so far and am looking forward to more success in the near future! yay! ok...ok..time to jet! hugs and have a great day! |

hahaha... well when i started this journal i swore i was going to do it honestly....and even though i layed in bed considering lying about how my day ended yesterday...haha...i have decided to just own up and live with it. this is a journey about a girl who is simply trying to be HEALTHIER...but i never claimed to be perfect...hahah....nothing is ever easy! i ended up cleaning the bedroom and then having a few drinks last night...blech.....Not healthy...for dinner i ate a BLT on whole wheat...i did snag a few tator tots but not a whole plates worth....after that i munched on some pecans that i had to shell as i went so i didnt overdo these either! i am dissappointed with myself for caving and drinking....but i already know this was going to be harder than i ever imagined totally cutting it out of my life. i obviously have a slight prollem when it comes to drinking....lmao.....so one step at a time....the deed is already done and i feel crappy about it....BUT today will be different!! it HAS to be!! i have to go out to the camphouse and then i plan to come home and workout! i am dying to do this quad workout so i can quit thinking about letting the last 2 days go by without doing it! ugh!! hahaha have a great saturday! hugs! | |

| Pink Members | ok! i poured out the remainder of the alcohol we had in the house and got to my workout! whohooo! heheheheee! Quad dominant workout w/ biceps: lighter weights/higher reps/ 30 sec rest intervals ATF squats: 3x12 @ 65lbs leg extentions: 3x12 @ 70lbs SLDL: 3x12 @ 85lbs bb bicep curls: 3x12 @ 40lbs drag curls: 3x12 @ 30lbs db curls: 3x12 @ 15lbs the squats were hard even though the weight was lighter than usual...OMG! interesting how difficult everything is with those higher reps...i almost DIED! hahaha extentions felt great! i got a major burn on the last few reps of each set! whew! SLDL felt really good too...i felt a really nice burn in my hammies on these! bicep curls were also good...these were challenging on the last set of each! drag curls were TOTALLY challenging and hurt like hell (in a good way) whohoooo! db culs were last....these felt really challenging too on the last set.... yay i did it! now all i have to do is eat well the rest of the day and this will be a very successful day! so kewl! |

| Pink Members | yeah on again off again is my middle name....i have noticed i can go for about 2 or 3 months solid before i totally lose it.....either that ir i just lose it over and over every week like lately and have to start again and again and again....honestly i am sick of counting my day 1s so i have decided to ditch the whole day 1 idea and just go with the flow....i am downsizing my carbs again because thats when i feel my best....plus lower carbs + a little higher fats makes for GREAT appetite suppression! i really wish i would just make my mind up and stay strong! im tired of being weak! soooooo great to see you DM! ive missed ya! howd everything go??? |
