| Pink Members | thanks for all the well wishes sweeties....i am feeling mucho better today thank gawd! i swear i havent ever felt anything as painful in my LIFE....and that includes childbirth! ouch! i am so so soooo glad the neighbor made me go to the doctor when she did! she told me today not to even think twice about paying her back for the office visit and that she will reimburse me for the eyedrops that cost me $62! she said since it happened while i was working for her on her property its the right thing to do for her to pay...i did not argue! hahaha...and YES goggles will definitely be worn everytime i clean her pool from now on! i didnt realize how much i took my sight for granted until i couldnt see for a few hours! yikes!! my eye is still quite sore but doesnt hurt nearly as much as it did yesterday....i am exhausted though...unfortunately i still have tons of work to do out at the camphouse for the neighbor....she feels so badly that i have to work but they are having a double birthday party for 2 of the grandkids and there will be about 40 kids and their parents out there tomorrow at 3! i will finish a few things tonight and then go back first thing in the morning to wrap up anything i havent done...i cannot WAIT to sleep in on sunday! my body feels like its been in a train wreck even though all i hurt was my eye....weird how pain can exhaust you... a bit of good news though....last night the restaurant i applied for called and i am hired! yay! they still dont have an EXACT opening date but they said it will most likely be the 2nd or 3rd week in october! i am so excited! i love starting with a fresh, new, clean restaurant! i will be working thurs, fri, sat to start....at least thats what id like...and honestly i prefer to work at night even though its nice to work during the days and be home at nights with the family....but the money is at night more so im gonna do that 3 or 4 days a week! this means ill be working and can help with christmas! sooo kewl! monday we are going to the repo place to look at their refurbished trailers....i think thats the route we are planning on taking...but we want to find a trailer no older than 3 or 4 years old with a warranty...i dont want to regret anything! well its just about time to go get the kids and then im back to working at the camphouse! hope you all understand i wont be by to visit until tomorrow morning or maybe even tomorrow afternoon i will be so busy! see you soon though! hugs!! |

| Pink Members | ok well im back....LOL after a lot too many weeks of being out of control with my eating and workouts,i have decided that there's no time like the present to get back on track and start HONESTLY trying to lose weight and pack on muscle. i am ashamed for always losing track, but i also know i have what it takes to lose this weight and be happy with what i see in the mirror....i allowed myself way too much slack to succeed in the past...i now know i have to stay strong and focused or i will keep failing and falling down the same frustrating path over and over again...I AM BETTER THAN THAT! the eating part is the hardest part for me... i love lifting and have been lifting, just havent been eating for success, thus negating all the hard work i put into my workouts....i MUST find a way to lower my calories and carbs and yet keep my fats at a healthy level! hows everyone been? i have missed you all and feel good to be starting up a new journal here! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 30 | Glad to see ya back Pammie!! I noticed your thread was gone. Then I noticed my thread asking about your thread was gone (Mods feel free to PM and exmplain this). Honestly, I was wondering if you ever existed at all? ![]() It's good that you are back and that you are planning to straighten out your diet. I know how it goes. We all slip up once in a while. I've been really bad with over doing it on my high cal days, but I'm back on the wagon now. Can't wait to see your new log. *R*

gaining muscle while losing fat is pretty much impossible. one requires a caloric surplus, the other requires a caloric deficit. a lot of people worry way too much about losing muscle while cutting. If you are a bodybuilder entering a contest yes your goal is to hit your peak come show time.. maintaining the most muscle possible while, at the same time having the lowest bodyfat possible. Due to muscle memory any muscle you lose while cutting will come back in no time once you return to a caloric surplus.. I am with you one the hating to diet part, I prefer to up my activity level as opposed to cutting calories... 2 times a day cardio, and lifting 4 days a week when I am cutting, instead of a strict diet, and cardio once a day... whatever your goal building muscle, or burning fat.. you have to chose one or the other. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 58 | I know it is easier said than done, but you have to change your lifestyle. Dieting is not the answer. You tend to eat too little and not with a balanced diet, then you go off on eating/drinking binges. A well balanced plan will keep you eating all day and will help you avoid the blood sugar lows that result in cravings. Aim for losing 1 lb per week and two years from now you will be able to get into you HS prom dress. (hahaha, well, with the lifting that might look funny, but I think you get the point.) *

| Pink Members | yay soooo great to see all of you! makes me feel great! ok...today i am working for my neighbor all morning and half the afternoon, but i still plan to get to my workout once i am home and dinner is cooking. i really need to sit down and work out my menu....rad you are so right about my eating habits...i really need to buck it up and do what i know i should be doing eating wise...i would appreciate any and all input about my menu and i promise to post my food daily so you can see what i am eating. ok? one step at a time though...i already ate a hashbrown this morning and a Mcmuffin thing...i know i knowwwwww....it was like i was a zombie when i went through the drive thru this morning....like one part of my mind was absent and the evil bad eating side was wide awake....no more excuses though....from this VERY MOMENT i will do all i can to eat as healthy as possible with whole grains and fruits and veggies included in my diet plan. if i watch what i eat for the rest of today i can still come out on top. i am also giving up alcohol altogether in my life...i have to admit i have a problem stopping once i have started and that i always feel like total crap the next day after i have gotten drunk....all drinking will do for me is get me to my grave earlier anyway....seems like i could find something to replace the drinking with...i will have to really have some will power now...but i also know its in my best interest to give it up and take care of myself! im scared....scared ill fail again and again....but being scared of things never stopped me before so i will not let it stop me now! ill be back a little later to post my menu and workout! hugs to you all! |
