Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | db incline bench press followed....i used 35lb dbs on these and really got a great burn in my pecs by that last set of 8! awesome! Wow, can I still be you when I grow up? I just tried 20lb DB with this today... did *wow* 4 *wow* As I experience more lifting I just come to respect everyone here more and more... seriously, I have no sense of scope for lifting any weight greater than 125lbs at the most, and that's with my legs... but I finally understand what it might be like to bench with 35lb db and what that means. You go! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Good workouts Pammie...as for the grip loss, try using a straps. I know some people don't like them, but if you're not trying to develop your grip strength and you are trying to develop your back strength...why let your back be hindered by your grip.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! hahaha....dammit.:run: i made 48 cupcakes last night to take to the school today for my daughters 5th grade class....i didnt even lick the spoon or my fingers, the bowl...NOTHING! i was so proud of myself for having control! very kewl! im not sore today...wont be until tonight most likely...today i am working quads....ugh! i will get to that after i get the kids from school unless something comes up! but hopefully it WILL get done! i am determined! ok off i go! laterz! |

| Pink Members | just finished my workout! Quad dominant w/ biceps: ATF Squats: 5x5@135lbs leg extentions: 3x8@120lbs <--PR! SLDL: 3x10@115lbs BB curls: 5x5@60lbs <--PR! incline db curls: 2x8@20lbs, 1x8@15lbs drag curls: 3x10@34lbs WHEW! man lemme tell ya those squats kicked my ass today! i started out doing a few without weight...just to warm up a little....then i got started....HOLY HELL that first set liked to KILL me...hahha....it went like this: 2 reps....pause pause....2 reps...pause pause pause...one rep.... ...the 2nd set was better: 4 reps pause pause pause 1 rep...haha...the 3rd set was 3 reps pause pause 2 reps...the 4th set was 3 reps pause pause pauseeeeeee....1 rep pause pause 1 rep...and the FINAL set was 4 reps...pause 1 rep! gawd was i ever glad to be done with those today! ( as are you in reading about it i am sure...hahah)leg extentions went fantastic this week! i got a PR on completing all 3 sets of 8 with 120lbs! NIICE! the fronts of my ankles were kinda sore afterwards though...ill have to remember to wear shoes or at least socks next time to alleviate that problem. SLDL was the hammie accessory...i did 3 sets of 10 with the 115lbs and today i decided to use my straps to help with my grip....WOW what a difference! i was able to have total control...kept that barbell practically glued to my legs all the way down and up...got a killer burn in my hammies! rock on! BB curls followed....got another pea are on these today by completing all 5 sets of 5 with the 60lb barbell! awesome! man i was totally pumped...totally pushed myself to the limit on these today...thought i might go crosseyed for sure!! hahah...and OMG my VEINS....BIGTIME vascularity! AWESOME! moved into incline db curls next....used the 20lb dbs for 2 sets of 8 but HAD to lower to 15lbs for that last set of 8..totally trashed my biceps....hehehee LAST were the drag curls....i used 35lbs for all 3 sets of 10...although it was a little light i still got in a great workout and felt like a zillion bucks afterwards! STILL DO! i am noticing at this very moment a tenderness on the inside of my right hand....its in the meaty part under the thumb...guess i musta bruised it somehow....ugh! but its not bad or anything!! i will survive! ![]() |
