| Pink Members | well YAY! i finished my workout not too long ago and i must say it kicked my ASS!! hahaaa i have heartburn though dammit....YUCK! anyhoooooo heres my workout: Quad dominant legs: squats: 2x4@140lbs, 4x4@124lbs lunges: 5x5@BW (lightweight hamstring accessory exercise) leg curls: 4x12@40lbs incline db curls: 6x4@20lbs bb curls: 5x5@39lbs hammer curls: 4x6@20lbs the squats KILLED! the first two sets i used 140lbs and did fairly well with it...although i dont think my form was perfect...this is why i decided to lower the weight to 124lbs and go from there. felt a lot better after that! lunges are getting easier with just my bodyweight (212lbs isnt very light anyway...lol)...but i will still do them with just my BW until i feel like they are really easy. leg curls went nicely and really killed me! i kept my toes pointed and held at the top...very NIIICE all the bicep stuff went great! yay! man im sitting here feeling a little weird....my head is a bit lightheaded and i am wondering WTF? i think ill go lay down and see how i feel in a little while....drag! i wonder if not getting much sleep is the reason.... ill be back! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 184 | Hey girl. Great workout. Take it easy now k? Did you eat some protein + carbs right after? You did great on those squats. Sheesh I'd be passing out too lifting 140lbs! LoL You know it's weird with my lying leg curls...I can't bring my feet all the way up to my buttocks cause the weight will slip right off my ankles! I think the bench is meant for someone with longer legs. I'm a shorty at 5'6". ![]() I can bring them half way up before I start to feel as if the weight will slip off and slam down against the bench. Darn! Maybe I'll try them standing instead!! YEAH...what took me so long to think that one up?! LoL Anyways hun...hope ur feeling bettah soon! :fruity: talk to u later.. Hugs, ~D~

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 184 | ARGH... Cancel out the "standing up leg curls". I just went to test this method out and it won't work. ![]() The top part comes right up to my butt even before I raise my calf. ![]() Oh well...I'll just stick to DL's, etc for working my hammies and squats for quads.

| Pink Members | hahah D...poor baby....hmmmm....what to do what to do...lemme think on this.... i have decided my allergies are flaring up...i can remember last year about this same time i was having these same light headed moments and feeling bascially BLAH...when i went to the doctor he said my ears were filled with fluid and he gave me antibiotics to ease the crud...these symptoms i had today are exactly the same....argh! oh well whaddaya do right? i cant afford to go to the doctor right now period, so i took some allergy meds from over the counter and hopefully this will help me feel a little better. |

| Pink Members | whew im a simply exhausted....i think a combination of not too much sleep this week, allergies, just coming off being ill, and this HARD ASS workout is taking its toll on me. i am logging in my food and hitting the sack early tonight. food was good...i ended up having 3/4 c. yellow rice with dinner....if i would have looked at how many cals and carbs it was i wouldnt have eaten it, but its too late now...LOL...no worries though....my body most likely needs them at this point. meal 1: 1 can tuna, 1 Tbs mayo, 1/2 c. pineapple chunks, 1 can green beans meal 2: 5 oz. chicken breast, 1 c. broccoli, 1/2 c. pinto beans meal 3: protein shake + 6 fish oil meal 4: 6 oz. chicken breast, 1 c. broccoli, 1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4 c. yellow rice Total: 1927 Fat: 42 374 20% Sat: 14 125 7% Poly: 11 102 6% Mono: 7 63 3% Carbs: 216 692 38% Fiber: 43 0 0% Protein: 194 777 42% Alcohol: 0 0 0% |
