That made me have fond memories of my mom. She made the most delicious pineapple upside down cake. Yum!!!

it was a nice relaxing day today...swam a little in the pool...watched a few goofy movies...nuthin too exciting...hahahahaaaa....i am looking forward to the cheat day tomorrow...

heres what i ate:

meal 1: protein shake + 6 g fish oil

meal 2: 1/2 c. cottage cheese, 1 c. cheerios w/ 1/2 c. skim milk

meal 3: 4.5 oz. skinless boneless chicken breast, 2 oz. 100% whole wheat rotini pasta, 1 can green beans

meal 4: can tuna, 1 Tbs mayo, 1 piece 100% whole wheat bread

well im feeling a bit better this evening...FINALLY...i swear to gawd i thought i might simply DIE earlier today....i threw up so much my throat is absolutely sore as hell and i feel weak and drained, but at least im not tossing my cookies anymore. couldnt for the life of me figure out what made me sick...i considered that the breakfast we ate might have been too greasy...we had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs w/ sausage, and fried potatoes, but it just didnt seem likr that would have made me so sick. i also considered it might have been all the mosquito bites i got yesterday when i was outside in the back...but if that had been the case i think i would also have neck pain and fever ( west nile virus)...and THEN I SAW IT....sitting on the stove i saw the frying pan that my hubby cooked the fried potatoes in. OH MY GAWD....this pan has been sitting out in the backyard for MONTHS...i almost DROPPED DEAD when i saw it sitting there with the residue from the potatoes in it! why the HELL didnt i see it this morning when i scooped out my potatoes? hell i dunno....but i saw it NOW and OMGGGGGGG....i cannot believe he used this pan! this HAS to be what made me so ill.....he said he washed it, but geez how much can you wash something? he cooked these potatoes so they were crisp and he kept scraping the pan while cooking...i am absolutely CERTAIN that this is what made me sick. NOTHING ELSE makes sense...it was only about 30 minutes from the time i ate to the time i started throwing up this morning.....GAWD....should i kill him now or make it a slow painful death? hahahahhaaaa
when i mentioned that i thought this was the thing that made me sick he got this look on his face like NO WAY...i mean HELL, he ate the potatoes and didnt get sick at all....but he eats all kinds of shit all the time...ive been eating so clean these last 8 weeks i am not at all surprised that my stomach couldnt handle the CRAP that i obviously ate from the backyard that was embedded on that freaking pan....holy shit the more i think of it the more pissed i get....i need to stop thinking about this...

the kids have their first day of school in the morning so i have to get up early...YUCK...i hope i am feeling better by then...i am increasingly feeling better and better as the day goes on, but i dont feel 100% by any means. i was able to eat some chicken breast and a little mashed potatoes for dinner...few bites of fettucini that i made for hubby...but nothing exciting at all...i have to admit i made myself a hot toddy a few hours ago and am sipping my second one now...sure is making me feel a little better. sometimes a buzz is called for if you ask me...its been 7 weeks since i had a drink and if anything, tonight i deserved one dammit!

OMG dude that aint no freakin lie...ive considered wrapping him up in the sheet and kicking his ass while he slept i am so pissed...bwhahahaaa...but hell, he has to get up and go make money to support us so i think ill leave him be for now.....i still dont think he thinks this is the reason i was so ill, but IMHO this is all it could have been! and i was HONESTLY, SERIOUSLY sick....so so sick i actually considered going to the emergency room once or twice.....my chest was so tight i thought i might have been having a heart attack...and i was DELIRIOUS...had the weirdest dreams (reminded me of once when i was super sick when i was a child)...and i couldnt stop throwing up...classic food poisoning symptoms dammit....grrrrrr.....you can bet when i am feeling better and more clear headed he and i will have a serious discussion about this....and tomorrow i will be looking in the muthah farkin backyard for any and ALL pans that might be laying around and trashing them as well....he thinks he can take a pan outside and spray it out and then leave it until he wants to use it again? hell the MINUTE it makes backyard status it is DEAD in my eyes...and he and i have gone round and round about this before.....hahahaaa...hes always like " oh its fine...just wash it" and im like " no way dude...im not eating out of it" i just wish i would have noticed it sooner.....but such is life eh? good thing i didnt DIE.....ohhhhhhh grrrrrrrrr can you tell im still seething about it? UGH~!

ok...just ONE MORE DRINK and ill be good to go...nighty night! :sucks:

hahah dawg...well actuallyyyyy......nothing keeps me from my pammie style cardio TOO long .....i had a great dream this afternoon that sorta made me want to do cardio immediately...bwhahahaaaaaaa

gawd its been a day of total rest for me today and boy did i need it! i am still really weak and tired from the illness this weekend, so i am taking it easy this next few days until i feel 100%. its not good to workout when your sick, this i KNOW, so i am going to concentrate on getting better before anything else.


i dropped the kids off at school this morning and came home and got back in bed...didnt even eat ( yuck..horrible thought)...slept until now (2:17pm) and wish actually that i could just stay in bed the rest of this day! i wanted to get this house cleaned while everyone was at school, but screw that! hahaha it was wonderful getting to sleep with no interruptions....tomorrow i wont be able to do this cuz i will have to go to the neighbors to work on cleaning out her camper...YUCKKKKKKK....hahaha....i hope i can stomach it! if i am still feeling badly i will reschedule until wednesday, but i am hoping to get it done cuz we are Broke with a capital B and need the cashola bigtime!!

in a sec i will put a cute pic of the kids in my gallery...first day back to school pics! hehe what fun!

ok...time to wake my ass up and straighten up a little bit...i have a few minutes ( 40) until i have to go pick the kids up...

re: your fat calculation problem

Saturated, Polyunsaturated and Monounsaturated should add up to almost as much as the total fat. I say "almost" because there is often a difference between the sum of the parts and and total. The reason is fitday uses the nutrition label as the basis for its database design. The nutrition label on your food doesn't show the "other fats" (transfatty acids, hydrogenated something or another and any other evil disgusting man-made fat).

I'll get off my professorial soap box now.

You do need to get a salad or something in there. Maybe add some herbs, salsas and high fiber vegetables. Clean food doesn't have to be bland.
