| Pink Members | thanks for checking in on ya'll...im feeling better today. things arent TOTALLY normal yet, but they are on their way at least. yesterday i tried to rehash the fight and get down to the bottom of why he got so angry but he was in no mood to talk...(which pissed me off all over again....lol) i decided to do the REVERSE of what i usually do and stay totally silent. this totally worked....he started paying more attention to me after that and by this morning he was saying he was so sorry and that he loved me. i am still honestly very very hurt....each time we fight i cannot seem to get some of the hurtful things he says to me out of my brain and its been adding up...so much so that i honestly wonder sometimes what it feels like to be with a man who takes notice of his spouses feelings...one who TALKS....communicates....CARES...my dh does love me i know he does...but hes also selfish and will only stand for things to go HIS way....(hes NOT selfish any other way though....weird...) and TALKING? no possible way... unless its right before he needs sex...(which is fabuolous BTW...hahahah) anyhoooo after much though i have decided.... whaddaya do? if im not planning on walking away, i might as well just deal with it...its the way hes always been... as far as my eating...its been shit the last day or two....Monday i will start that transformation thing so i will have to be strict...today i will eat chips and stuff during the World Series too, even though when i stepped on the scale this morning it actually said 230lbs....YIKES!! this cannot be all actual fat gain! it HAS to be severe bloating right? i mean hell not too long ago i was at 213lbs! crazy ******* scale really takes me for a spin on a regular basis... hopefully i will be happy to have a loss soon...Monday is D-day! i have loads to do before the Game! see yall soon i swear! |

| Pink Members | hahah dawg...good point....hubby smacks me on the ass all the time.... and YEAH...youre right about me screwing around on my diet...but tomorrow will be a great day to start fresh! watch me! no cheating after today until Thanksgiving! i am thrilled to say last night hubby and i had a very long talk and totally patched things up! he was finally feeling like he could discuss things without flying off the handle and i was able to give him my point of views as well as listen to his and we worked through everything. i feel tons better now. it was good to be totally honest with him and to have him being honest with me. we got a lot of baggage off the table and i think things will be much better from here on out! yay! marriage is NEVER easy...but i am glad to say mine seems to be back on track! whew! now if only the ASTROS would have won! ARGH! hahahahahaa....maybe tonight! i am totally excited about this transformation contest that starts tomorrow! i can and WILL do this and make BIG changes! have a great day everyone! i am off to watch football!! |

| Pink Members | Successful Day 1! I am so happy!! Todays workout: Horizontal Push /Pull went GREAT! I have switched things up from my usual 5x5 or 6x4 to a 4x8 and 3x10 (depending on what I am doing and how I feel...) and lightened up the weights a tad to adjust for the higher reps. I feel confident and excited about the next 90 days! Heres the workout: Horizontal Push/Pull: (Back, Chest,Calves) rack pulls: 4x8@164lbs bb rows: 4x8@100lbs ( first 2 pronated/ last 2 suppinated grip) T-bar rows: 4x8@109lbs db incline bench press: 4x8@30lbs pushups: 4x8@BW flat db flyes:4x8@20lbs standing one-legged calf raises: 4x8@BW I started out with the rack pulls...went lighter than my normal 200lbs (for 6 sets of 4) since I was going 4 setd of 8 tonight. I really enjoyed these! bb rows were next....again, going a little lighter to accomodate for the higher reps...used the pronated grip for the first 2 and then switched to suppinated grip...these were EXTREMELY challenging for me today....doing the 8 reps was a big change....nice burn! T-bar rows were next. I REALLY like these. I load up one side of my barbell and then wedge the other side under the cabinet with 2 plates on either side of the barbell to keep it from slipping around....I then straddle the barbell facing the weighted end...bend kness and grip outer barbell where the grip lock is and LIFT and lower in a rowing motion....The lighter weight felt very nice. db incline bench press was my favorite tonight. I used 30lb db in each hand...I got a very enjoyable pump in my chest doing these with the higher reps. I almost added on a few more reps in the last set they felt so great! pushups suck arse...hahahahhaaa....but I do them...one day I will be able to do regular pushups, but for now I will stick with the bent knee pushups going face to the ground. I am still very challenged with these! flat db flyes were next to last...these arent really all that exciting for me, but I like them...they felt good. to end the workout I threw in the standing one legged calf raises. I used slow, concentrated movements on these tonight and really got a great cramp atthe end of them....(LOL) I did notice that I have a slight pain in my left front forearm area. I cannot lift anything at this one certain angle without a twinge of pain. I will watch this closely. I plan on putting some muscle rub on it in a sec when I go to bed!! Its nothing serious I dont think. Eating was also right on track! Totally kewl! ![]() Heres my menu for Day 1: meal 1: 6 oz. chicken breast + 1 c. broccoli + 2 oz. shredded cheddar cheese + 3 c. coffee + 2 sweet n low + 2 fish oil + 1 sesamin + 1 multivitamin meal 2: 4 oz. chicken breast + 1 oz. lean beef steak + 1 c. lettuce + 1 c. romaine + 1 cherry tomatoe + 2 slices cucumber + 2 small slices onion + 1/4 c. shredded cabbage and carrots + 4 oz. fat free Italian + 1 oz. cheese meal 3: can water packed tuna + 1 Tbs mayo + 3 dill pickle spears + 1 sesamin + 2 fish oil meal 4: 6 oz. chicken breast + 1.5 c. lettuce + 1 small tomatoe + 3 oz. fat free french + 2 medium baby carrots + 2 c. hot tea + 4 sweet n low meal 5: POST WO protein shake + 1 oz. turkey breast + 2 fish oil + 1 sesamin Day 1 Macros: Total: 1675 Fat: 59 530 33% Sat: 20 184 11% Poly: 14 126 8% Mono: 12 110 7% Carbs: 61 205 13% Fiber: 10 0 0% Protein: 220 881 55% Alcohol: 0 0 0% 1 gallon of water Thoughts: I am really happy about how today went! I didnt get my workout completed until late tonight, but I am so proud of myself for making sure to get it in even though it would have been a lot easier to snuggle up under the covers with hubby! I pushed myself nice and hard tonight too...felt GREAT! Hubby took me out to lunch this afternoon...I ordered the 1/2 grilled chicken salad w/ fat free Italian dressing and it was yummy! Even though I have been hungry today, I made sure to try to eat a lot of green, leafy stuff so I felt full. I also enjoyed 2 cups of hot tea tonight w/ sweet n low and this helped curb the dessert craving I was having! Whew!! Im also totally psyched because we got our newest electric bill and it was only for $50....hahaha...last month I told them they had read the meter wrong and asked that they come reread it...so they charged me $8, said they came out and reread the meter but it was correct and we owed the huge arsed bill they had sent us. it was about 1,000 kwh too many...but they SAID they checked....yeahhhhh ok....hahahha..... now that I got the new bill and there was an OBVIOUS descretion, I called the company and pointed it out and they said " ooops I guess we DID make a mistake..." LOL go figure....sooooo thats great news for us...we still have to pay the hayoge arsed bill from last month, but at least we have a small one next month....AND they are spreading the bill out into 3 payments for me too....soooo kewl...I was sweating being able to pay that bill for sho...now that I think about it, I should have had them take the $8 charge off the bill for saying they came out and reread the meter when they obviously didnt! | Pink Members | gawd ive been cleaning house all day...its just FINALLY starting to look like i did something though...hahhaa....amazing how much clutter builds up in a week isnt it? i hate cleaning! hahaha i am planning on doing a HIIT a little later tonight...tomorrow will be quads! whohoooooo! my neighbor lady that i work for had knee surgery today...they called me to tell me she made it through fine and is now resting in her room...thats good news!! i ran to walmart and bought a basket and put 3 magazines in it, a pair of Halloween socks, a loofah, and a little bath set...with a cute card...lol...put it on the table where she will be sitting when she gets back from the hospital. shes a sweet lady! ok...more work in my horizon! i am washing all the sheets and blankets and pillowcases and all that shtuff today, so theres not a moment to sit here and play! boohoo! ill be back later to log in my HIIT and my food! |

Todays workout: HIIT cardio 5 cycles of 2 minutes ON ( running at a 7 or 8 intensity ( out of 10)) alternated with 5 cycles of 2 minutes OFF ( walking at a fast pace (4 or 5 intensity)) Today was a beautiful, cool day here in Texas!
