gawd i am exhausted this morning! i feel like i have been run over by a truck...hahah....seriously dragging ass!

but work calls....i am due at the neighbors to work in her garage all day long....so i must go! ill be back later!

Here I was coming over to motivate my lazy arse to do a workout! hehe

You know whats funny? In the summer it's so damn hot, humid that I hated working out. Felt like passing out half the time from the heat. Now it's getting cold and all I want to do is stay in bed all warm and cozy. Too cold to workout! hehe

hahahah D...YUP

im feeling better now though...i worked for 3 hours in the neighbors garage...got it all cleaned out and swept and looking all freaking fabulous...hehe...and now i feel full of energy and will do a workout after i pick the kids up from school...yay!

Today is hammie dominant day! double yay! i love deadlifts!

anyhoooo im fixin to eat a steak and a salad at this very moment and then i will have to jet to pick up the kiddos, but i will be back after the workout to log it.....so get to it woman! hopefully i will see a kick ass workout from you in your log tonight!

Argh!!

Nope not doing one tonight. I was so damn tired/sleepy today so I was hoping to get a little nap then workout but, Dh doesn't want me to workout today. Oh well.

I'll make sure to get it done early tomorrow. :winkthumb

whohooooo ya'll i just finished my Hip/Hamstring dominant workout and i feel great!

Hip/Hamstring dominant workout w/ triceps:

deadlifts: 1x4@200lbs, 5x4@220lbs

leg curls: 5x5@50lbs

leg extentions: 1x12@70lbs, 3x12@75lbs ( quad accessory)

close grip bench presses: 1x5@89lbs, 1x5@94lbs, 1x5@99lbs, 2x5@104lbs

bench dips: 5x5@BW

db triceps extentions: 5x5@20lbs

man those deadlifts were great! i realized after my first set that i needed more weight than 200lbs, so i added on 2 more 10lb. plates and it felt MUCH better....gawd i love doing deadlifts!

leg curls went really well...i think i will increase next time...

quad accessory leg extentions were next...started with 70lbs cuz i use lighter weights more reps on the accessory, but the 70lbs was a little too light so i added 5 more lbs and they felt perfect.

moved on to close grip BP next....started with 89lbs and kept increasing until it was challenging...this was about 104lbs so i am improving on these! yay!

bench dips KILLED today....holy gawd these are a total biatch for me! LOL

db extentions were last....these are very challenging at 20lbs...i will stick with it a little longer before i try to increase.

overall i am totally pleased with the workout! i finally got it in after dinner around 8:30pm...i seriously almost said "screw it", but since i rested yesterday i knew i should just get off my arse and get to it.....so glad i did!

food was a trip today....i ate a LOT of protein to curb my ravenous appetite...but i stayed low carb and feel fine about the high cals...im still watching and learning how my body reacts to everything so things will be a bit sporadic until i reach a conclusion as to what works best for my body!

meal 1: can of tuna, 1 Tbs mayo, coffee w/ sweet n low and non dairy creamer

meal 2: 12 oz. beef steak, 1 c. lettuce, 1/2 small tomatoe, 2 Tbs Ranch, coffee w/ sweet n low and creamer

meal 3: 12 oz. beef steak, 4 oz. chicken breast, 1 c. lettuce, 1/2 small tomatoe, 2 Tbs ranch

meal 4: POST WO shake

Total: 2720
Fat: 130 1170 45%
Sat: 33 295 11%
Poly: 10 93 4%
Mono: 32 285 11%
Carbs: 55 206 8%
Fiber: 3 0 0%

Usually, when I skip a workout I can't get to sleep afterwards.

morning!!

busy busy again today! i am due over at the neighbors soon to finish up some work she needs done....she will be having knee surgery in less than 2 weeks so she is trying to get all kinds of things finished that she will not want to tackle while trying to heal and recover from surgery. i am thrilled i can help her out and make a few bucks in the process!
hopefully i will get home this afternoon with enough time to get in a workout! otherwise it will have to be tonight...which is OK...but i really like getting it done in the afternoons so i can stop thinking about it!! PLUS i usually cannot crank my tunes like i want to when everyone is home...hahaha...in the afternoons i can raise the roof and no one cares...i like my music LOUD when i am lifting...LOUD and METAL....hehehhe whohoooooooo!

ok...ok...nuff from me for now...im off to eat and then to the neighbors! see ya when i get back!

whohooooo i just finished my workout and i feel fantastic as usual! GAWD i love getting pumped....hehehehehe

anyhoooooo heres the workout:

Horizontal Push/Pull:
back/chest

bb rows: 6x5@104lbs ( 1st three suppinated, last 3 pronated)

T-bar row: 5x5@140lbs

db rows: 5x6@45lbs

db incline bench press: 1x6@30lbs, 5x6@35lbs

pushups: 5x8@BW

db flat flyes: 5x5@25lbs

ok....i know i had a lot of rowing type stuff today but i get a really different burn from all of these so i feel fine about it.

The bb rows went great! i purposely used a weight a TINY bit lighter than i usually do so i could hold for a count of 2 at the top...got a hell of a burn on these babies! as always, i did the first 3 suppinated grip...last 3 sets pronated...

T-bar row was next....dayum i like these....i used 140lbs on my barbell and really challenged myself on the last few sets...i held for a count of 2 and then lowered fairly slowly today....UGH! hard!

db rows were next....on these i also made sure to hold at the top and bottom of the lift....really squeezed at the top and then lowered for a great stretch at the bottom...

the db incline bench was by far my favorite tonight...i started with the 30lb dumbbells, but after 1 set of 6 i knew it was a little too light...so i switched to 35lb dumbbells and this made all the difference! these were freakin killer! i REALLY LOVE that feeling during these when youre not so sure you can do one more, and yet you concentrate and those arms go right up no problem....i felt challenged and really really awesome after these sets.

pushups were next....man these suck...hahaha....but i did 5 sets of 8, going flat to the floor ( without releasing) and back up...i swear i almost failed during the 3rd, 4th and 5th sets...but i DIDNT ALLOW IT...and now i am still aching! NIIIICE!

db flat flyes were last....these are quite hard at 25lbs each dumbbell....but i manage them fine and get a great stretch in my chest afterwards....gotta love a nice stretch! whohoooooo!

YAY!! i am so happy to have gotten in the workout!

After i got home from working at the neighbors, i ate lunch, then it was time to go get the kids from school....then i took them to get a bite to eat and a haircut for my oldest kiddo...by the time we got home it was time to cook dinner and i said SCREW IT and ordered them all takeout. i was soooo good too, and didnt order myself anything bad! i had chicken breast w/ green beans and salad with light olive oil vinagrette! very kewl!

the only thing i did bad today was eat too many cashews...youd think i would KNOW not to buy the can of them...i cannot trust myself around a can of nuts....hahhaha....so i ate 3 oz. and forced everyone else to eat the rest of them so i couldnt eat anymore.

carbs are a tad higher than i like...protein could be higher...

heres my menu for today:

meal 1: 4.5 oz. turkey breast, 1 slice american cheese, 1 whole egg+4 egg whites, scrambled in 1 pat butter, 32 oz. coffee, sweet n low and non dairy creamer

meal 2: 4.5 oz. tuna, 1 Tbs mayo, 2 dill pickles spears

meal 3: 3 oz. cashews, 1 pickle spear

meal 4: 6 oz. chicken breast, 1 c. green beans, 1 c. lettuce, 1/2 small tomatoe, 1 Tbs. olive oil vinagrette

meal 5: POST WO protein shake

Total: 2043
Fat: 102 914 46%
Sat: 26 233 12%
Poly: 10 93 5%
Mono: 10 89 5%
Carbs: 83 294 15%
Fiber: 10 0 0%
Protein: 192 767 39%
