Hey Pammie babe!!

I like Rads idea too. Even though I can fly off the handle with sweets if I have too many of them around (especially cake!!). LoL

I keep a bar of 70% cocoa Lindt dark chocolate (store finally brought it)stashed away for those chocolate craving days. I have two pieces of it and it takes care of my sweet tooth. It doesn't taste the greatest but, it's real chocolate.

Another of my favorites is a sf oatmeal cookie topped with sf whipped cream. Just a small treat I allow myself 'after' I eat my planned meal. Sorta helps me escape the hardships of dieting.


I know that part of it has to do with the macros. but, a lot also has to do with cals. I just make sure I have enough protein in my diet..the rest I play around with. I finally came up with the right numbers to get my weight moving but, I'm not extremely strict with my macros every day (kinda cycle them)...just keep an eye on your cals and like Rad said...'You will be ok'.

hi dawg! youre the sweetest chocolate in here thats for sure :eat: ! great to see ya around! hehe

well...i have to say my day 1 didnt turn out all that great so far....i had an extreme bout of the "drop dead tired" s about 1 pm or so....i felt extremely drained and worn out so i layed down for a nap and crashed bigtime until it was time to go get the kids....once we got back home i was right back in bed zonked out for about 45 minutes...i am just now feeling a tiny bit awake....maybe later tonight i will squeeze in that workout.....i always do enjoy a midnight workout thats for certain! obviously my body needed a rest....it was going out whether i liked it or not...hahaha....and boy is it great to spread out in the bed without having to share space...heheh....i love my afternoons at home alone...if a nap deems itself necessary, its DONE....at all other times in my life there is never any time for naps!

as a matter of fact a midnight workout is prolly just what i need....i love verticle push/pull workouts....

food is fine though! i just need to eat MORE today....too much sleeping= not much eating....hahahaha

Midnight workout!? sounds cool...except for the fact I would be wound- up
and not able to go to bed before 2 or 3 AM.

I luv's me sum chocolate, but every time this year Pumpkin milkshakes are
available at this awesome Ice Cream place we have here! Good stuff! I will
be making gains for sure...in my waistline!

anyhooo just wanted to check in and let you all know where i am today....

heheheeee well dawg it turned out to be THAT kind of workout afterall...hehehehe

BUT..i have pulled my lat....


dammit!

hubby got home last night and attacked me ( in a good way ) but somehow during "ride the cowboy" time, i pulled something in my lat area and it hurts to lay flat on my back, or when i turn over or move in the left lower lat area...UGH....

NOT what i needed! ( although the rest of the ride the cowboy time was fun...lmao)


im going back to bed....to SLEEP this time....hopefully when i wake up my back will feel better.

yanno, tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary going on LC and starting this journal, etc etc...i find it very interesting that i am feeling derailed right at this time, and i am taking it as a good omen and am starting over as if new, tomorrow....Oct 5, 2005!! :fingersxd :bigthumbu

eating has been not so bad really...but i am looking forward to getting back to being strict with myself starting tomorrow....now this doesnt mean i am going wild today though...hahaha....i already let a few days turn into a week recently, so theres no more room for screwing around! hahaha....but starting tomorrow i will be keeping my food log again and making myself totally accountable.


as far as lifting...i need a few days to recover from this lat pull....my back is aching so damn bad today its almost unbearable....sucks! i need to go buy some ibuprofen and icy hot....i know this pain well though...its the same pain i get from time to time....same exact area....lower left lat area....i think thats what it is anyway....its like if i take my left hand and put it high on my left hip, then flip my hand UP and back, i touch the area that is hurting....kinda right below my shoulder blade....with radiating pain into my back in all directions and a slow, quiet kind of throb... :mask:


but i will be fine in a few days...it usually takes 2 or 3 days for the pain to go away...and then it's like it never happened (until it happens again)....LOL...i assume i prolly injured myself a few years ago when i was first starting out lifting...i remember something vaguely....pain....ache...lots of ibuprofen and icy hot........it's never quite been the same after that, and i get these pains occassionally after a strenuous workout...hahahaa....or a lot of pammie style cardio :bed2: ....lmao

anyhoo....just checkin in to say HI!! ive been laying in bed all day trying to relax but i cant relax at all...no matter what way i lay my back aches like a sunofa so i decided to just get up and move about....feels better that way....

honestly i think i arched my back too long or something...bwhahahaha


at any rate it sure was fun...but dayum my back hurts! i could barely sleep last night...every way i turned i would experience pain... ...i am hoping things will improve today...otherwise i might have to get high on pain killers.. ...

eating is right on track at least....i know the training will be fine in a few days once i am healed up....
food has always been my downfall....so i am glad i am doing well in that part!

today is my 2 year anniversary from starting low carb! wow! time has flown by! it will be interesting to see if i can have the same results going very low carb again...last time i lost 100lbs in 10 months....all i have to lose now is about 50-60lbs...seems like i can do that! :fingersxd
im gonna just take it slow and easy and one day at a time...no pressure...just watching my cals, carbs and fats and training as hard as i can when i can.

sounds like a winning recipe....NOW to figure out the ingredients yanno? hahaha

well, have a most fab day all....ill peek in after a while.....im gonna go lay down in bed and relax if i can...work on a few more pammiedoodles i am behind on....maybe snooze a little....

Pushing yourself too hard can lead to burnout before you know it.
Like you said, If you keep things tilted in your favor, it will come together.
