| Pink Members | my my my what FUN we had today!! hubby took me out to lunch....i was "pretty good" hahah....had grilled fish, grilled shrimp, and shrimp scampi w/ a little steamed veggies and wild rice...Red Lobster....and i did NOT touch even ONE cheddar biscuit! i also drank 4 wine coolers...BAD PAMMIE!! hahahahaaa.... when i got home i punched it all into fitday and i see those damn coolers had 50 carbs and 400 calories in them! UGH! LMAO...shit next time ill just have a vodka! hahahhaaaa....good thing i am lifting in about an hour...maybe ill work some of that off....at any rate i am already up to like 800 cals, so i will have to have a decent dinner to round it all out...but it was worth it! we havent been out together without the kids in forever! i think from now on i will plan Mondays as cheat days so he and i can go have a little fun without stressing about the calories and all that. but im not stressing anyway...i feel great! hope everyones having a great day! | Pink Members | whohooooo just finished my workout and damn do i feel GREAT! it was fantastic! i feel pumped as hell and am super happy i got it done!! Verticle Push/Pull: pullups: 6x4@BW db pullover: 6x5@45lbs bb rows: 6x5@119lbs ( first 3 sets pronated...last 3 suppinated) db military press: 6x6@30lbs upright rows: 5x6@25lbs cubans: 5x5@40lbs ok...first were the pullups...i still cant do these unassisted...i have to stay on my toes still but i am getting stronger and stronger and i use VERY SLOW negatives on these....i really feel these in my back by my shoulder blades...is that where i should feel em? and lemme tell ya...i honestly push myself on these as much as i can...i use my ARMS...NOT my toes to lift...i feel certain i am well on my way to eventually doing one of these bitches on my own...hahaha db pullover was next...i use the 45lb db and really REALLY felt it today....i even added on a set cuz i was feeling so pumped up and energetic... bb rows were next...i upped my weights on these since my girl D is rowing 120lbs...i cant let her get too far up on me...hahhaa...holy gawd these were difficult, but i did em dammit and i feel great about it! db military press was next...i use two 30lb db for these and i added a rep and an extra set today so i think next time i will try with the 35lb dbs. no shoulder pain today! upright rows were next...i forgot that these kinda hurt my wrists when i do them, but i had already started so i stuck with them...LOL....got that wonderful NE second wind into the 3rd set...very very kewl~! cubans were last today....these are always quite a challenging exercise for me since i have to THINK when i am doing them....but i like them....cant go too heavy on these...but youre not spozed to...so its all good! they felt NICE! oops almost forgot to do my calf raises....brb hahahaa...ok...ok...did 5x5 standing one legged calf raises with BW since i almost forgot them....roflmao....hey at least i got them in...i think i forgot them last time too.... yay! i feel stoked! i would like to add that i normally would NOT workout after i had consumed ANY type of alcohol...but since it was earlier...and only 4 wine coolers...and i didnt even catch a damn buzz from them...LOL....i felt fine working out. i am aware that drinking alcohol inhibits protein synthesis as well, so i frown on drinking and lifting, but today was an exception. it was a nice lunch with my hunny!! next time i will skip the ignorant wine coolers though and if i need a drink ill have a REAL dr |
