They are desparate and have lost everything in the world that they have. From the rich to the poor. I know that you understand this, anyone that has ever struggled in life can.![]() This effects us all and we are all helpless to know what to do for these people. But, what is happening with them is what happens in desperation, and I don't believe they are being done right, nor do I beleive that they think that our government is going to do them right. They are American people, they are not refugees. They are one of us, be it rich or poor they deserve our consideration, and compassion if that is all you can give them, give that because that is enough. Money is not going to answer all their prayers today, right now they need compassion from all of us. Those who can give, it's great and I hope that every penny or material thing that is offered helps each and every one of them. They have lost everything. If you don't have it to give, you can't give it.Just remember that no matter what you read, they are human. We would be doing the same if it was us. These people have lost a lot of their faith and their values. Even if they want to do right they don't see a future right now so , it's the situation reguardless of their walk of life, they are desparate. The point is, you did not write it, you understand. So, I don't believe that you believe any of it. ![]() Brenda

| Pink Members | blech i feel like crap....emotionally i am a wreck today and i know a lot of it has to do with T.O.M....i just hate days like this when i dont feel like my usual peppy self and my decision making is off....just proves i need to remember this in the future and NOT post in my journals on these days...hahaha...always gets me into some kind of trouble...ALWAYS. yesterdays email fiasco is prime example of me acting on something when im overly emotional and not thinking straight. i wish people wouldnt even send me any damn emails...hahahahhaa.....from now on maybe ill stop opening them on PMS days...sound good? yup...sounds good to me! anyway ive been laying around all day feeling sorry for myself and i need to snap out of it. im a big girl...even though i may have upset a few people last night by posting that damn email....and i feel crappy about it...i cant change any of that now...and i have to just try and move on and remember next time to keep that shit to myself....it wont do any good to sit here and feel like crap all day now will it? LOL too late basically though...i already have done that for this entire day...but maybe i can make it a better evening and just smack myself out of this funk and cheer up...i need to do my workout and with this attitude i have today its hard to even think about it...and THATS NOT LIKE ME...i always look forward to my workouts! yikes! wheres pammie? i need to go find her and get her back in my brain!! hahahaa |

Hip/Hamstring dominanat workout w/ triceps: SLDL 1x5@154lbs, 1x5@164lbs, 3x5@180lbs leg curls: 5x5@47.5lbs leg extentions: 4x12@75lbs ( quad accessory..lighter weights longer reps) close grip bench press: 1x5@89lbs, 4x5@94lbs db extentions: 5x5@20lbs overhead barbell extentions: 4x6@44lbs man nothing better than a good workout to make me feel like myself again!!! whohoooooo!!!! i am choosing to put what happened last night in the past now...i didnt do anything to hurt anyone and didnt mean to upset anyone by sharing something that was sent to ME...so i am not at fault here and i refuse to let it put anymore of a damper on my life than it already has. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | Hey, when did you start using Dextrose with ya post workout shakes..??? Ya know that's a bulkers trick .. so don't overdue it... However, I have read that the only tyme you really don't have to be concerned with excess carbs is post workout... I've switched over to 1 scoop of protein powder & 1 cup of instant oats (measured dry) ... I misunderstood when folks said a 2:1 ratio of dextrose to protein... What people really mean to say is a 2:1 ration of carbs to protein.. According to my fitday.. my protein powder/oats combo gets me 33 grams of protein & 70 grams of carbs... When I start cutting, my pre-workout meal is going to consist of real food.. and I'll only have a shake post workout... I only mention thys because I'm pretty sure you aren't trying to bulk yet... are you?? Peace..~G

im actually not using dextrose regularly...we were just in the video store last night and i got one of those big pixy sticks....all dextrose pretty much...and since i knew i had a lot of room in my diet to add it in i did it to help get my carbs post wo and also just for the treat...hahaha.....no worries it was a one time thing really... i usually only eat real food in my diet....i think you know that by what i post every night...but the last few days have been totally screwy for me...yesterday i was simply a total basketcase....didnt eat well...didnt eat enough...slept most of the day...hahaha....but im back to normal today and things will be much better. i appreciate you coming in and checking on me babes...i look forward to seeing ya! | |

YAY!! i swear theres nothing worse than a pammie on PMS...hahahaaaa.....thank gawd its over....i swear i always feel like someone has taken over my brain during those damn times of the month....glad to be back to normal thats for sure! i was supposed to go to the neighbors to do a little work this morning, but shes not feeling well, so i will go tomorrow hopefully...i sure could use the cashola. guess that means i will be here cleaning my own house for once...hahha...yuck....i so hate cleaning house....but someones gotta do it i guess aye? well have a fab day! ill be back later! i havent decided if i will lift today or not...we'll see... |

| Pink Members | WOW...kick ass workout for me today...i seriously didnt want it to end!! Horizontal Push/Pull: rack pulls: 6x4@200lbs bb rows: 6x5@104lbs ( first 3 suppinated...last 3 pronated) upright rows: 5x5@20lbs incline db bench press: 35lbs pushups: 5x8@BW db flyes: 5x6@ 22.5lbs whohoooo man thise rack pulls felt friggin awesome today! i am stoked! on the barbell rows i intentionally lowered the weight by 10lbs and really concentrated on form...obviously i used both the suppinated and the pronated grip and i am really happy with the burn i got doing these today. sometimes i think lowering the weight just a tad and really concentrating on form is better than just trying to lift as much as possible at all times. upright rows? duhhhh...wrong day on these but hwta the hell...hahah....i was halfway through before i realized i was doing the wrong thing....so i went with it...no biggie...i always like working my rear delts anyway....LOL....i need some really good back exercises to switch to though...all i ever do is rowing since i do not have access to a cable pulldown or anything like that...suggestions? incline db bench press was next...i love these....since i gave up on the flat benches to save my shoulders from injury i am concentrating on the db presses....the 35lbs is difficult but not too much...i really need to buy some more little plates to add to my adjustable dumbbells...im all out and 35lbs per db is as high as i can go. pushups were next....this was about the time that wonder NE second wind kicked in....man i am loving that stuff....i am obviously getting a great pump throughout my workouts and this second wind thing is new to me and i really really love it. i swear i added an extra set of pushups just because i was feeling so pumped! yeahhhhhh!!!! db flyes were last...again the second wind was still riding and i took advantage of it and added an extra set to the mix here too....damn man i didnt want the workout to be over! but it was already 50 minutes and i needed to go get the kids from school, so i reluctantly turned off the tunes and stretched before jetting out the door.... i feel fantastic! |

Still, i think it brought my fat up a little too high...but im not stressing...im too full... heres my food for the day: meal 1: 6 oz. chicken breast, 1/2 c. pineapple chunks, 1 can green beans meal 2: 1 c. cottage cheese, 1 c. pineapple chunks meal 3: protein shake meal 4: 1 can tuna, 1 Tbs mayo, 1/2 c. pineapple chunks meal 5: 1 c. moo goo gai pan, 1 c. fried rice (meatless), 1 eggroll ( meatless), 1 c. hot n sour soup Total: 1915 Fat: 74 668 36% Sat: 20 179 10% Poly: 23 209 11% Mono: 21 190 10% Carbs: 146 525 28% Fiber: 15 0 0% Protein: 163 652 35% Alcohol: 1 6 0% i am extremely happy with the way my workouts turned out today! i had a great lifting session AND a great HIIT afterwards!! see ya tomorrow! |
