| Silver Member | lol....dex that would be great. hi JJ...i had a very good weekend and i hope you did also. okay i haven't done much at the gym since last wednesday. just some stuff at home. pullups, curls....shoulder work etc. tonite i did bench.....dips......skulls and pushdowns at the gym. flat BB Bench: 135x10 185x6 225x4 245x1 265x4 265x3 275x2 dips: bw+35 @10, 10, 8 bw+25 @ 10 floor skullz: 70x15 120x10 120x10 rope pushdowns: 90x15 90x15 regular pushdowns(v-bar): 195x17 195x11 now rest of week will be same as last week...some lighter weight more reps....hope everyone has a good week and thanks for stoppin by my jornal__________________ |

| Silver Member | rasp...to tell you the truth i wanted to jump right to the 265 and do what i could but i put the 245 on and said well i'll just do a single so i won't burn to much energy/strength. i knew i was going for some reps on the 265 and as u notice i worked up in weight and down in reps until then. just felt like the right thing to do. i was listening to gut and followed its direction. no scientific reason that i know of behind it. i guess you call it instinctive trainin for me. i have in the past felt really good and then at the wrong time push out to many and give out of ummmph at the critical time. so....i really don't have a good answer...sorry..... . thanks for stoppin by and have a great weekend. |

| Silver Member | 1-22-2007 blast 2 workout A1 wk.1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the gates open.......and they're off: A1 30 deg smythe incline: LT 230 @ 9,4,5 TT 235 @ 8,5,4 next time i will hold this weight and up my reps. seated DB military: LT 80 @ 8,4,5 TT 80 @ 10,6,6 weighted dips upright: LT bw+25 @ 20,14,10 TT bw+35 @ 12,8,5 Rack Chins: LT N/A TT bw @ 10,7,5 Rack Deads: LT 385 @ 6 315 @ 12 TT 400 @ 7 320 @ 20 slight rest before last 5 reps(8-10sec. maybe) felt pretty good about tonite considering i have a head cold. i think on the incline and rack deads i will prolly stay with that weight the next time around and try to improve on my rep range. i can see if i don't i might hit the weight increase barrier. hope ya'll have a good week. __________________ |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | thanks for stopping by my journal. I am actually starting to feel better now, and I am already down to 167.6lbs this morning. Slowly but surely I am getting back down. Doesn't help either that I am on several different meds (bloodpressure, Cholesterol and to top it of Depression and Sleep aids). Maybe some of the meds are keeping me from losing? Well anyway, hope you rest of the week is awsome.
