ok, don't know why, but I am back to 168.4lbs this morning. I had 1/4 of that Caught trout last night for dinner with some Brown Rice, and I have been eating pretty good during the day. We went to the Zoo and there was a lot of walking involved, so I have no clue why I am back up. Drank a lot of water, too. Well, maybe it was the 2 glasses of wine I had with the fish last night. The kink in the lower back is gone, but it managed to move up to right under my shoulder blade. Wierd I tell ya. Hopefully this will all be gone very soon. I will soak in a hot Bathtub today while the kids are in school and maybe that will help some. Some more Trout for dinner tonight.

Hey DF, I am in Colorado, I have been going to the lakes a lot to fish lately, and if they are big enough, I keep em, gut em and freeze them if we don't eat them right away.
Back is actually getting worst. I am thinking about making an appointment with my doc tomorrow. Of course I don't know when I will be seen by her. Tried Ice packs, tried hot compress and lots of Motrin and nothing to ease the pain. Like I said it seems to be getting worst.

Hey hun...I just want to apologize for not posting to you as often.

Life has been pretty hectic for me since the start of this year...I really thought things would mellow down about now but, it has got even crazier with my work shifts, gym, home, kids etc etc etc.

Just know that I do appreciate your sweet posts and feedback...in my IMPC threads etc. I hope to get around to everyone soon.

I hope you feel better soon and get that back pain checked out soon. (ok I'm one to talk..I still haven't had time to go to my physio and get my shoulder looked after. ) But, get yours fixed now missy!! LoL

Well, called and made a appointment with my Doc, but she cannot see me until Ocotber 6th. So I guess I have to take it easy until then.
Feeling really moody for the last few days, too. Kids and Dh are really annoying to me. They jsut need to open their mouth and say something to me and I wanna jump on their throats. UGH god I wish I knew what is going on with me lately.

well, back is still not better
back feels really sore, too. Trying to get some relief with Icy hot and hot packs, pain is gone while the stuff is working, but as soon as I take it of (hotpack) the pain is right back.

the pain is right above the assbone (don't know the technical or should I say medical term) from all the way on the left to all the way on the right.

well, it got better and now I am just sore from the mattress we sleep on. We are thinkning about getting one of those Memory foam toppers for the Mattress since I don't have 800$ to fork out at this time for a new mattress.
Thanks DF for the article, I will try and stretch some more before exercising. Do you think 15-20 minutes should be enough?

I found a Belly dancing instructional video and will try and do this one today (you have to use your core a lot and your lower back (strengthening the muscles) so hopefully this will help in getting my lower back stronger and hence less painful

I used the memory foam for about a year too, helped for awhile but I still had to get the new mattress later on anyway. Back and shoulders were killing me. Belly dancing sounds fun and looks like a good core strengthener. As far as the stretching even 5-10 mins is a big help and it will make it more likely that you'll do it then having to spend 20 mins.

oh cool, thanks DF, I will do the 10 minutes then, cause I know I can stick with that. Looks like DH might have to go to Irak after all.

Will know for sure on the 2nd, that would give us about 1 week after we get notice before he would have to rotate out.

Kids are not going to like this at all, and me neither. He would get screwed, since eveyone else had 30 days block leave before they are leaving the first week of October and since he wasn't really supposed to go he of course didn't take no leave.

Oh boy I don't know what to think about now. Trying to get everything together in case he does have to go.

hey miezimau.....i hope everything goes well for your husband in iraq and that things go equally well for you and the kids while he is away. i know it is a hard and difficult road to travel. just wanted to pop in and see how you were doing. tell darkfalcon if he would quit huggin on dnyc all the time his shoulder problem will cure up. i won't even get into why the mattress was affectin him

well, DH still don't know exactly IF he has to go, but we are preparing for it by packing his bags and getting him ready in case he has to go, so we don't scramble last minute to get him ready, but have time to spend with eachother before he actually has to leave.

All this worrying is making me stress eat, and I am now up to 170lbs. Mind you I started out at 160 lbs when signing up for the IMPC in April.

I think if he really has to go I will be able to refocus and get that weight back down and by the time he comes back for his 6 month R&R I could actually be at my goal weight of 150lbs.
We will just have to make the best of the situation and milk it any way we can.

DH went to his Appointment, and he will have yet another surgery on his wrist. This time it looks like he will be in a full arm cast afterward for about 6 months, so right now it actually looks as if he didn't have to go to Irak afterall now.
I was actually up to 174lbs the other day, but I have been back to a better eating and this morning I am down to 169.2lbs. My mini goal is to get back down to 160lbs by the end of the month.
