Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Thanks everybody on the Anniversary congrats! DH brought me 14 red roses (12 for our anniversary and 1 for each of my sons born ![]() We went to Lone Star Steak house and had a nice dinner there. Appetizer was Chorizo con queso with Corn Tortilla Chips, Bread, Salad and then for the main course I had Filet Mignon and Garlic Mashed Potatoes Yummy. Yes I am up a little in weight from the beginning of the week, but I have been eating crappy. The kids home and all the snacking going on is driving me crazy and I cannot control myself. Good news is that DH is not going to NTC or to Iraq, since he is Medically Undeployable because of his messed up wrist (torn Tendant) his wounds are still not completely healed (yes it looks like they are, but Doc said if the Scars are still pink and not white that this means he is not healed yet). Hoping to get to go fishing today (this afternoon) if DH is getting of work early.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Hey Miezimau, finally got around to reading your journal from start to finish. Sorry I was late to the party. Congrats on your anniversary and I'm happy to hear your surgery went well. I must say it's inspiring to read that you are still tracking your diet as well as you are and trying to lift again so soon after afterwards. I'll try to do better in following your progress.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Wow, too many Moolattes! Was up to 165.3lbs yesterday and decided to get this eating under control again. Officially had my first day without a Moolatte yesterday and ate somewhat better and I am down a bit to 164.2lbs. Starting Monday morning back on South Beach Phase 1 for the next 2 weeks to get rid of the junk food cravings. Not worried about having a lot of energy, since I am still not cleared for the lifting anyway. By the time I am done with the 2 week Phase 1 I should be able to start lifting again and I will eat more in Phase 2. Hoping to get to take Progress pic to post for IMPC the next few days to not miss the deadline. Still bloated in the tummy area from surgery and it usually gets more at night time.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | 3rd day in a row sitting at 164.2lbs Better than going back up. Still not eating the way I should, but you bet I will by Monday morning. Went fishing yesterday afternoon and the total for the whole family (Myself, DH and our 2 boys) was 129 fish. Several trout and several perch. Out of all these fish we only kept 2 trout and 1 perch. The biggest trout we field dressed and it is sitting in the fridge waiting to be cooked. The other trout and perch were so small that we put them in one of our fishtanks. Oh also started with some crunches yesterday (3 sets of 15 at bodyweight) and must say I am feeling great. No pain at all today or yesterday while doing them.

Today it happend to be 2 ![]() Started my Cutting again on Monday and I am already down 2lbs to 163lbs. Eating till I am full, but very low carb at this time for the next 2 weeks to get my cravings under control, after that I will add in higher carb Veggies, whole grains and Fruits. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Had my Post op appointment yesterday and GYN cleared me for the pool and all exercises. She said to wait about another week before we have sex (intercourse) since I still have a few stitches left that need to dissolve. She also asked if I had very heavy and Painful periods prior to getting the Hysterectomy and I told her yes. Well, she said it turns out they found that some cells that are supposed to be in the Lining of the uterus had traveled in to the Wall of my uterus causing the Painful and Heavy Periods. She said the Hysterectomy was well worth it ![]() I am down a bit on the weight. She said to still do low weights (no more than about 10lbs dumbbells) and to wait with the exercises that involve a lot of Lower body work mostly in the Abdominal area. Cleared to do crunches but not sit ups. I am Powerwalking for the last week 2 miles every day in about 30 minutes. Thats all folk ![]()

Don't sweat these things....it happens. When it comes to weight loss, it is an endurance run, not a sprint to your ideal physique. It takes a long time to get to where you want to go. It has been my own experience that I take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. As long as you go forward daily, you're going in the right direction. (is that too many cliche's?) I am trying to be encouraging, not corny. But seriously, keep doing the work and you'll see your desired results in the end ![]() | |
