![]() I really don't have a way to get vids of them, Baldie. Sorry. Here's a link to some pretty good pictures, though. Free Image Hosting and Free Picture Hosting - View Image extremestretches66.jpg I bet there are some Youtube videos on the extreme stretches out there, too.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | A bit of a frustrating workout. First, a friend has asked me to train them... that, in and of itself is fine, but I find myself focusing more on them, then on myself. I think the plan, for now, will be to get them started and send them on their way. I dunno. Second - tonight was chest night and I'm still struggling with strength issues. Pissing me off! ![]() Hammer Strength Incline - 129lbs (on each side, 258 total) 8/7/6/5 - failure on sets two, three and four. Wanted 4 sets of 8. ![]() H.S. Flat Bench - 99lbs on each side (198lbs total) 8/8/6/7 (failure on last two... damn near on second set as well) DB Flyes - 60lbs 4x8. Finally, a movement I felt good with. Will bump the weight next time. Machine Flyes - lower weight/higher rep - 150lbs 2x12. Will bump the weight on these next time. So, my pressing is struggling. Since coming back from my lengthy break, most everything is coming back strength wise... except chest. Progress is going slow. I don't get it. Granted, I can keep at it until I get those four sets of 8 on each current weight (that's another frustration, having a lower weight)... and granted the total weight is respectible... but it's still lower than where I left off... for instance, incline (I think) I left off at 144lbs on each side. Maybe I stick with one pressing movement, but add some drop sets, etc., to bump up the intensity and do something different?? Grrr... Ok - vent over. Later. ![]()

Had grip problems the entire time. Good, short workout. Followup to my chest discussion - I've got some significant DOMs going on... so I must have done something right. ![]() Later. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | ARM DAY Good day, until... Hammer Strength Dips - 284lbs 4x8 Cable Pressdowns - 110 3x8, 120 1x8 Cable Skullcrushers - 77.5 4x8, Drop sets - 57 1x6, 42lbs 1x3 EZ Bar Curls - 85lbs 3x8.... then 1x6. My form was getting kind of sloppy toward the end and on rep 6 I felt a painful twinge at the top of my right bicep, near where the delt attaches. It was significant enough for me to stop immediately. Incline DB Curls - NO GO... tried with just 30lbs and felt the painful twinge again. ![]() Rested for a few minutes then tried Pinwheel Curls - did a few reps with a real light weight to see if I felt it again. No pain, so I went to 45lbs and did 4x8. No pain this time. Not sure what happened... but it sure didn't feel good. A weekend of rest should do me some good. That's it. Later. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | Chest Day MUCH better day than last week, plus, an additional pressing movement and a move up on the flyes. Hammer Strength Incline Bench - 129lbs on each side (258 total weight) - 8/8/8/5.5. Last week was 8/7/6/5 Hammer Strength Decline Bench - 118lbs 4x8 (added back into the rotation) Hammer Strength Flat Bench - 99lbs 1x8, 109 2x8, 119 1x7. Lower weight from the start due to the earlier presses. DB Flyes - 65lbs 3x8, 1x7.5. Up 5lbs Overall, felt like it was a great training night. I was looking back at old logs and was pissed some of my weights had gone down or yo-yo'd over time. I was not going to half ass it tonight. Wanted to add the extra pressing movement and get some of those reps. I finally moved up on reps with those damn inclines, did well with the declines, and moved up with the flyes. A good night. My chest feels like a hunk of lead right now. ![]() ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | Okie dokie... I was tired today. Felt like I was gonna fall asleep at my desk... had to do busy work to stay awake (i.e., my annual clean out the crap I've piled up in the last 12 months from all the nooks and crannies of my office). So... I drag my sorry butt home. Go to the bed room to change to go to the gym. Think to myself, "Self, a 20 minute nap would do you some good." 30 minutes later, I wake up when my wife barges in the room asking what I'm doing. "Sleeping. What's it look like?" She answers, "Are you going to the gym?" "If I have to." So I finish changing and drag my sorry ass to the gym (me, not the wife... although). The nap did do me some good. Anyway, tonight was Back Night. I was a little worried about my strength levels as my eating was crap today... way too many cookies, not enough good food. Rack Chins - GRRRR couldn't do them as two lard asses were hogging them (no pun intended). Got sick of waiting so instead, I did Medium Grip Pulldowns - 210lbs 4x8 - up 20lbs Standing Pressdowns - 90lbs 2x8, 100lbs 2x8 Rack Deads - Warmup w/ 135lbs. Working sets, 315lbs 4x8. My form wasn't the best as I couldn't get my straps wrapped. Can you tell I was getting pissed by now! But I wasn't going to give up and hammered them out. Hammer Strength Rows - Did these single arm this time around... glad I did. Felt like I worked my back better with them as I was able to keep my form very strict. 141lbs on each side, 4x8 Hyper Extension - BW only - 2x12 So, for being tired, and in sort of a foul mood, it was actually a good day in the gym... there appears to be a theme forming here. ![]() Later. ![]()
