"Voluptuos" and "athletic build" can mean different things to diffent people. See below two examples of "athletic build". I don't think either are voluptuos, but others may disagree. I guess you can tell by the file names that I used, which one I prefer.

Can we say CIRCUIT??? The last 2 WO's I have done are circuit intervals at home on my step..fast steppin, like runnin up stairs! (1 minute interval) mixed with weight training...1 minute, lifting many reps, lighter weight!

I get a great burn off these workouts...drenched to the bone in sweat, bigtime DOMS and good calorie burn...I have workout ADD. :crazy1: I always need to change it up because I get bored. YOU KNOW?:hellyea:

Changing things up pretty regularly is good for you anyhows....keeps the muscles guessing and constantly trying to adapt.

hey guys,

Today was abs day. I have devoted a whole workout to abs because I'm "abs lazy" and just like any other part of the body, it deserves many sets and reps. I did a variety of crunches, planks, side crunches and hip lifts. No machine cardio yet today, as I taught 2 classes this morning and I still have a beginner yoga to go tonight. I may do some cardio when I get home tonight, we'll see....

Thanks for the "ROCK" pammiejoe...you ROCK too :rock:

1st in, yeah, I have to have variety with fitness because the rest of my life is very routine. I thrive on it..I appreciate structure.

I was "abs lazy" until I did an hour crunch class once per week for about 3 months. After that, I didn't find doing 100-200 crunches at a time to be so onerous. I have been doing abs about 5 times per week, but only about 3 or 4 sets per session. Someone reminded me that I would do better training them harder twice per week. I think I am going to give that a try.

A whole hour!!! Holy flerking schmidt! I can't even imagine. The most I have ever done is an abs X-press 30 minute class...which would've been equivalent to what I did yesterday. It felt great. 1/2 hour twice per week should be adequate build those ripples. But for me, anything worth doing, is worth over-doing, I always say.
