Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Good on ya, PJ!! Oy...been working out like mad...pushing to absolute failure. Damn it feels good. I have DOMS quite frequently now. I have also finally snapped into the routine of doing my abs regularly. Once again, the hip flexors are flaring up, but I am changing my exercises to accomodate it. Instead of walking lunges, I am doing consecutive leg press on a unilateral hammer strength machine. Also, isolation exercises are less painful. Its nice to be able to workout at different gyms where I am employed. Each gym has different equipment name brands. I'm lucky to have that variety. Only 20 more days till the next pic submission deadline. I'm going to holod out for 19 days and post on the 20th. hehehe |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | When you worked out with the ball.. did ya feel it working your core more than laying on a bench?? .. Just curious because that's what everyone claims.. but I've just been too manly to use one of those balls whyle working out... Peace..~G

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | HI Guys, Gameday, yes, using a ball as a bench incorporates your core stabilizers as well as your hips stabilizers and your glutes, if you hold a bridge position. Also, its good in a pinch, when the weightroom is busy. Nessa, thanks I try and take it up a notch whenever possible.Hey D, where's your cookie at???? LOL So, here we are again. I took Thursday off wt. training..Friday I did shoulders, saturday, I taught a ball strength training class and worked out again today. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 16 | Nice workout! Your comment about your boobs had me laughing. How do they limit your range of motion for bent over rows? You should be rowing to right below your belly button. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Well folks, I managed to squeeze in a home workout tonight, despite a more than mild headache. I dimmed the light in my workout area and did a lot of flat bench stuff to keep my head level with my heart, thus reducing the pounding feeling in my temples. Here's a rundown: hubby spotted me. What a great guy!!! wt/reps Push ups on toes: 10, 10 Push ups on knees: 15, 15 BB flat bench press: 65.5/11, 65.5/10, |
