The carb-cycling calculator goes along with undulating periodization but, you can just use the calculator.

LOL @ New Spawn...now that would be heart-pumping cardio!

dbflgrl, I LOVED 300! It is definitely "the movie" to see this year. The story is great, the costumes were awesome and the special effects were fantastic. If you liked comic books back in the day, you have got to see this movie...oh and ladies...the endless rippling abs were worth it too (you'll know what I mean after) hehehe

Dnyc99, thanks for the link. i'm sure I will be using it in no time at all.

Well not much to add at this time. I am buying Guitar Heroes 2 for my hubby and I today. Last time, we had borrowed it from a friend and loved the game. That's about it...slow day for me.

Guitar Hero 2 !!! ... I hope you get an extra guitar.. ya know 1 can play the lead and the other plays the bass... I guess that's the long way of saying there's a co-op mode... so now Hubby & Wifey have another way to make beautiful music together..

Good question...since my AC joint injury, I have been having some ongoing issues with impingement in both of my shoulders. The last actual workout I did was monday in the "gym" component of my conditioning class at school. We did a bootcamp style workout for an hour. Yeah, baby! We will buy another guitar when we get a lil' more cash. We are strapping it for the summer because we want to buy new wedding rings. My husband has lost close to 70 lbs in the last 7 months through diet and exercise (I designed his weightlifting programs!). His ring no longer fits him. And....I lost mine about 2 years ago. Yeah, yeah, bad wifey!!!!!! SO, we are going to buy new ones. We are saving up for it, so the second guitar will have to wait a bit.

Don't know yet...the physio will give me the information when I go to see him again. Hopefully, this will not be a chronic injury.

Hi JJ! Little birdy tell's me your going to give South Beach a shot? D was a furnace the first 2 weeks of that so I'm guess it's doing it's job burning up fat. I may try it once my bulk is over.

Gosh, it's been few days since I have been here...let's get down to business:

Okay, now onto my workouts:

I have still been teaching my yoga and lo-impact classes. Also, I have been doing my "gym" classes in school. In the next few weeks, I will be starting an apprenticeship doing indoor "spinning" classes. I figure it is a good skill to add to my resume and a good way to do some more non-impact aerobic exercise. Wish me luck! hehehe

Today, I am going back outside for a playground workout. Spawny, wanna join me? Last one to the monkeybars is a rotten egg! just kiddin'

Spring has finally come to B.C. It is sunny and beautiful. I am going to be going outside more often and getting back into my trail running ASAP. Okay, this post is already getting really long, so I leave you with this one last thing:
