I ran out of time before I had to start getting ready for work. I will finish the rest on Monday. Today, after work, I am going to take my pug dog to get his pictures taken with Santa at the local petstore:camer:, then come home, do my workout, then have some sushi! I'll post up my workout after it is done.

Thanks for the well wishes ![]() Hey all, Just a quick "pop in". My schedule is manic right now. Yesterday, I spent all day washing the walls, painting, decorating for X-mas and grocery shopping. It was a full 12 hr. hour day of domestic work. Sh*tty. I have not worked out in days because of commitments, headaches and X-mas prep. I think I am burning calories doing all that stuff, but I feel my energy waning. And DANG! if there wasn't a personal training explosion at work. I have clients everyday, which is unusal for our rec centre. I heart $$$$. hahaha Anyways, gotta go. Thank you all for stopping by and wishing me wellness. I will check in as soon as I am able to get in another workout. Ciao!

Well, Things are not getting slower, but I have managed to eliminate all non-vegetable carbs from my meals after 5pm. This has taken some getting used to, but I figure its a step in the right direction for not putting on any body fat during this time. Also, it will prepare me to cut properly in the new year. On the home front, I still have X-mas shopping to do...ackk...the stress of this holiday. Also, working out has still escaped me for the time being, but my teaching load is getting reduced signifigantly after today, so I will be back at it with a vengeance. ![]() Thanks you guys for stopping in. I hope to get to yiur journals soon to say some hellos and catch up. Gotta log and go!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Dear IM family, This thursday my father, who is 69yrs. old, had a heart attack. He is stable now, but going in for angioplasty on Monday. Needless to say, this has been a hard few days and I have not been paying attention to anything except my families' needs. I'll be back on as soon as I know my father has recovered from the pending angio. I hope you all are having a great time this holiday season. Be sure to appreciate your family, you never know when they may not be with you. |

You know...with my dad passing away just recently...I can't help fearing for all those close to me who I hold dear and love. I think I'm at a point were I'm also sinking into my own world and really trying to distance myself from everyone. It's a strange time for me...instead of surrounding myself with people and feeling happy..I'm actually pushing everyone away and feeling miserable. I'm not sure what it is but, I guess I'm still mourning my father's death. (with work and home etc...I haven't really had time to actually realize he's really gone.) So by taking time out from everything and everyone is my way of coping I think? Anyways hun, I sure hope your father recuperates quick and to good health in no time. You and your family are in my thoughts and heart. Good words of advice hun...always let your loved ones know how much they are loved and appreciated. BIG hug to ya GF. If you need anything or someone to talk to...give me a shout k? You know I'll be there for you..no matter the distance. Take care of yourself JJ. Your friend, ~D~

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Hey all, Thank you all for your support during this difficult time. To update you all: My father came throught the angioplasty with flying colors. He has fully recovered from the surgery, but is on some serious bedrest for the next 3 months. He can not do anything more strenous than make a salad. If he walks for exercise, he must keep his heartrate between 60-70 bpm, no higher. I have been in contact with him everyday through all of this. This monday, I am going back out to their place to give my dad a ride to the doctor (he can't drive for a month either). I will be happy to see him out of the hospital, in his own environament. It broke my heart to see my father in a hospital bed, for the first time in my adult life. Every moment, I have come to value life more. My heart goes out to all of you that lost a loved one this year, especailly you, Dnyc99. Thank you for stopping into my journal to offer your love and support. I know you are there for me, as I am for you. Take care! |
