Thanx Rad!Feelin' a lil' wonky today... I think I need a refeed!!!!Today I have to be so good...dang...my husband wants me to go out with him for his cheat meal, instead of just picking it up (drive thru), like he usually does on saturdays. Then, we are going out to a movie with a relative. oh MY GAWD, the temptation....must NOT give in.... ![]() Today will be dreaded core, abs and cardio (long and slow)...I need a LATTE!! Wahhhhhhh Do you know how long its been? I have been drinking coffee with skim milk and sweetner...no lattes, no syrups....The price we pay for "hotness". Oh and I need a new 2 pc. too. I hate my pink one. I think I am going to go buy a black one to satiate my need to shop. Ackk ![]() | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Well folks, it turns out that two outings in one day is too much for me to take I was doing fine at dinner, I had a turkey burger, no cheese and a diet coke. About 2 hours later we went to a movie with the mother in law. When we walked in the theatre, I totally lost it.....I wont even say what I had, but I should've stuck to NewSpawn's advice and just had water and a sm. popcorn. Soooooooooooooooo, today is a new day, no excuses! I gave into temptation, now I will have to work harder this week to make up for it. But, what is more disappointing is that I wont be able to say that I went 12 weeks without a cheat. Also, this close to pics, I CAN'T be bloated and all carbed up..YUCK! I will be doing chest and back today...think about lifting heavy, fewer reps just to break the monotony of the endurance training I have been on for the majority of my weight loss journey. I will also run (on the treadmill)...my guilty pleasure now. I'll post again later....feel free to chastise and malign me for giving into temptation, I deserve it ...arghh ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | ALright, I rocked my workout! ![]() It felt great to lift heavy again, since its been awhile. My bench was 70lb for six reps (on Smith machine...dont know how much bar weighs?) My bench used to be 90lbs for 6-8 reps before I started IMPC. I have lost some strength, but thats the price you pay when losing fat and eating less for weeks at a time. I also did machine assisted pull-ups, lifting 61% of my own weight. One of these days, I will be doing full pull-ups without any machine! WOOT WOOT! I was listening to P.O.D. "Boom!" It rocks hard and makes you wanna kick someone's ass! LOL Post workout, I ran for 20 minutes with my heart rate at more than 85%of my target training zone. That was really a great workout. I haven't fully forgiven myself for last nights badness, but I will just kick my own ass some more this week for penance. :box: |

| Silver Member | woohooo.....good workout JJ. hey don't worry bout the movie stuff....we all strive to be where we can every now and again stray away from the daily norm and still not destroy what we worked hard for. the trick is to have mind over matter and realize that doing that everyday is not the right way,,,,and you realize that..... so no harm , no foul. keep up the good work and have a great week. and by the way .......SMOKIN avatar. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | So far today, I have shopped, got some groceries and a new veggie steamer...no exercise yet...dang I need a boost. I have harsh DOMS in my pecs today from my heavy bench (yes guys, I know its not up there with you all...) but for me, it was heavy ![]() I endeavor to do at least 45 minutes of cardio and then have some steak and basmati rice. WOOHOO! Have a great day, y'all. Happy Monday ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 58 | The lbs come off one at a time. Losing 17 lbs seems impossible. Just focus on that one lb. this week. *

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Okay, this day has sucked somethin' fierce. I didn't get out to buy a new 2 pc. suit. The weather has been shite and I have chronic SAD: seasonal affected disorder. The summer is my best time of year, when it starts to rain, I turn into "oscar the grouch"....Grrrrr I have eaten far too much salt today, haven't drank enough water or had any vegetables AND have not yet worked out and it is almost 9pm...friggin' hell! After I got off work today, I came home and slept, and have been sitting on my ass all night. My pictures are going to look like shite. I'm going to be bloated from eating all the wrong things. I will get on the bike before the end of the night, I'm sure of it. Gotta sweat out this salt. Seriously, this whole week has been pooched so far since my little binge on saturday. Its like I have a 4 day hangover (both physically and emotionally) from eating junk food. Well, wish me luck for tomorrow...wish me clear skin and eyes and a slim waistline when I wake up in the morning...I'm not going to eat until the pics are done. :paranoid: |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 58 | JJ get over it and get back on the wagon. It happens to all of us. Remember to have one or two refeeds planned for every week. It will be easier to avoid those moments of weakness, if you know there is a refeed day coming up in a few days. (Sometimes a refeed day can be a cheat day if you really need to eat something bad. But, always watch the calories.) *

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | I'm back. I went for a jog and took my skipping rope. I went to the park, skipped, jogged, boxed, jabbed and bobbed and weaved. It was a very productive, high impact workout. I kept the pace quick, about 140 -148 bpm, in terms of music (like techno). I came home and lifted weights for shoulders..hard and heavy! ![]() I also did boxing drills with DB's in hand..uppercut, jabbing and hooking. I used only 5lb DBs because of the higher rep count on the boxing drills. Hopefully, next shoulder workout I can do 8lb DBs. I have drank at least 1/2 gallon of H2O, so my belly is wish-washing around with water. I am going to do my pics after I shower and do my hair..keep an eye out! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | Can you spell DOMS!!! Oh my gawd, those DB puches, uppercuts and hooks from my boxing workout have killed my lats and lower traps. I can barely flex my back without cringing. Thank gawd I have to teach yoga tonight....have a good stretch. Now off for a run on the treadmill. Oh, BTW, dont look at my IMPC pictures, they're gawdawful!!! I was sweating up a storm because it was really hot in my apartment while I was getting the pics done. I couldn't keep my composure for some reason and I was still retaining water and looking REALLY soft. Wouldn't ya know, I wake up today and look tighter!! Damn, I should've done them today...oh well, there's always next month...:confused2: |
