Cool Role Reversal...

Since DBFLGyrl's giving out excellent workout advyce.. (lyke I usually do)...
I'll give out excellent nutritional advyce.. (lyke she usually does)...

Breakfast...

You're not eating enough.. Its the fyrst meal of the day.. get some complex carbs in there... Oatmeal, Milk.. & protein... lyke eggs...

Meal 2..

Where are the fibrous veggies.. You need brocolli, carrots.. green vegetables..

Meal 3..

Your pre workout shake looks fine.. but move the cottage cheese to the end of the day.. & the yogurt you can eat along with breakfast.

Meal 4..
Post workout, you want fast acting carbs & protein in a 2 : 1 ratio...

Meal 5..
More veggies.. and reduce the amount of carbs... maybe 1/2 cup of rice..

Meal 6..
Last meal of the day - You only want protein & fat.. maybe cottage cheese or natural peanut butter..

hey hey GDD :snack: you cant critique my diet if i havent posted it...oh wait I guess you already did *sigh* my diet is not that bad except i dont eat enough( i tend to forget it time to eat alot) i am working on that. k?


dbfl thks so much i will do what you said..and i dont know what the rows were lol . I looked up exersizes for body part and it came it *shrug* couldnt think of another one to replace it with what i have to use.


AND today is my off day for weights any way..I will be doing my usual run/walk to school
and another 30 min on the treadmill after dinner. then possibly some more cardio ....this way :bed2: *grin*

leg extensions -(machine) 4x8@40lbs
phanton chair- did 4 with a slow 10 count pause on sit
squats with dbs- 4x8@ 10 lbs
reverse leg extensions (flatbench) 4x8@30lbs
lunges w/ dbs- 3x8@15lbs
lateral lunges with bar- 4x8
heel raises with dbs- 4x8@15 lbs
seated heat raises with 20 lb plate 4x8
ankles flex w/ 10 lb plate 4x8
duck squats 2x8 with 30 lb db

no run/walk today gotta take dj to ear dr after Kdg. so i will get 45 in on treamill later today. Have a Great weekend!

Mom,

In general, you want to do ~3 exercises for the big body parts -- chest, back, shoulders, legs -- but less for the smaller ones like triceps and biceps. On my shoulder/arm day, for instance, I do:
Standing military press
Rear Delts
Lateral raises
Bench Dips
Pressdowns
Barbell curl
Incline hammer curl

3 for each like i do now..or three altogether? some of these you listed i can do but some i dont have equiptment for and i have to find a sub. : ) did you read my other journal about my mess up LOL i cant believe I did that on day 2 yet hehehe.

here is todays workout:

Quads, hams, calves
leg extensions (machine) 4/8@ 45 lbs NW
dumbell squats 4/8 @15 lbs NW
reverse leg extensions (flat bench) 4/8 @30 lbs
heel raises Toes straight 4/8 W/ 10 lb dbs..toes out 4/8 with 10 lb dbs
seated heel raises 4/8 with 30 lb plate
duck squats 1/8 w 30 lb db
phantom chair....2 with 30 sec "sit" times
30 min on treadmill at 4-5 with a 3 incline
thats it ,rainy day so I will miss my run/walk gotta go to the store anyway.


Oh yea sat I did the Chest back and abs...but forgot to write it down..It was just like the last one though

I would do 3 for shoulders and 2 each for triceps and biceps. Remember that triceps get worked during chest and biceps during back.

I think you can do everything I listed with th exception of pressdowns with home equipment. I also posted some notes in your other journal. Guess we should make up our minds about where we want to "talk" -- less confusing to keep it in one place!

Lat pull downs machine 1/6 @ 40 RW 3/8 @ 45lbs
military press with DB's 4/8 10lbs
Shrugs w/ DB's 4/8 @ 10 lbs

Hammer Curls 2/8 @ 15 lb 1/8 @ 10 lb DB's
Alternating DB curls 2/8@ 12lbs 1/8 @ 10 lbs

Bench dips 4/8 BW
Tri extensions 3/8 10lbs


will do my 2 mile run/walk when i pick up DJ

Incline DB press 3 /10 @10lbs

DB Rows 2/10 @15lbs 1 /6 @15lbs

3 sets of 10 twist crunches
2 sets of 10 ball crunches


will do run/walk to school today also

today was leggies

Squats 3/10 w15lb db's
SDLD 3/20 @ 40 lbs (last set was a bit hard still)
Step ups 3/15 w15lb db's
Lying curls 1/15 2/8 @40 lbs
Heel raises (on step) 1/15 2/10 w 15lb db's
Seated heal raised 3/10 w 35 lb plate

will do my run walk if the rain doesn't start
if it does 45 on tread

Incline DB press 3/7 @ 15lbs NW
Lat Pulldowns 1/10 @50lbs 2/10 @55lbs NW
Incline Flyes 2/10,1/8, @10lb DBS
One arm DB rows 2/10,1/7 @15lbs NW
Flat bench press 3/10 @35 (did all 3 sets this week woo hoo)
Seated Row 3/10 @50lbs NW

4 point bridge (core) 2/5 hold 10 sec
ball crunches 2/10
twist crunches 2/10

no run/walk today so will do tread or dance later today .

I am going to get back on track hopefully today. I got rid of the toothache and not its gone into a head cold!! I can not win for losing right now, I guess.
But, I am going to try to fight this and get back on track, I don't like feeling crappy.
