What color competition suits did you end up getting? Have you gotten them yet?

Just finished talking with CJ a few minutes ago, so suits are on my mind at the moment, and it reminded me of yours.

No, I haven't received them yet EME. I told the lady I needed them by July 11. My contest dates are Aug 6 and Aug 27. Anyway, I ended up ordering them from crystal corner.

The style of my one piece will be like this and with this pattern of jeweling.

That one I just attached is actually dark green, but my one piece will be in this fabric, but not this jeweling. It's black velvet with gold/bronze threading.

Nope, not at all.
But, I'm used to doing the same thing. Picking out suit styles is a team effort at our house.

Those suits will look beautiful!

I'm glad you got the "newer" style one piece with the low crossing strap in the back. The judges like those better right now.

Can't wait to see the pics from your show!

Cool -- we'll be suffering at the same time.

I thought the lower straps might help show my lats better. I don't have the widest lats, even though they're very strong, and I didn't want anything to be covering up any part of them. Thought it might give the illusion more that they were spreading out. LOL

Hi RaSP! Glad to see you here! LOL, on the suits. Those girls are gorgeous, huh? I'm going to see Pam tomorrow, so I'll be sure to let ya'll know how that goes. I never feel like I'm getting leaner and I'm not sure how the last two weeks have gone as far as losing bodyfat is concerned, but I've done everything I was told. I've been doing amazingly well not cheating on this diet. It's getting boring. I'll still be a good girl, however.

Hey Hib!

Here's a preview of the design concept I came up with for her Routine outfit. Of course, CJ is doing the work of turning my "artist's rendition" into reality.

( The actual colors will be more black and silver - Think of this like a concept car - The end result will be very similar, but not exactly the same )

I know what you mean. I don't even think about breaking out the posing trunks for practice until I'm getting pretty close. It's a lot better for you mentally to look in the mirror and be pleasantly surprised when you put them on, than to say...

"Oh, I shouldn't have done that...."

Don't worry, you're going to look great. When you're in shape, those suits actually really make you look your best, even though they are small.

I know you'll be ready. You've been really working hard!
