LOL -- I had a bad karma day yesterday, Game!! :evil:

First, on my prebreakfast walk -- there are these group of construction guys in the neighborhood -- well, actually there are several groups. They're all nice, except for this one group. They see me coming, walk out to their van and lean on it and cross their arms, leaning back and cross there ankles and just stare real lewdly at me as I walk by. I tried saying, "Good morning" one time, because sometimes that breaks the lust mode thing and I just get stuff like "You look good." in real deep voices and whispering, etc. Now, they've been doing this for about a month and it's starting to irritate me. They look like they want to throw me in the porta (o?) john and do stuff to me. I even changed my route yesterday so I didn't have to walk by them, but it is a huge loop I walk that circles the neighborhood. Irritating doo doo heads.

Then, I had the gym incident with the guy in the parking lot. He was waiting in the parking lot when I came out the door. There were other spaces open. I figured he was waiting for someone to come out of the gym. I get in my car and start taking the top down -- it's automatic -- and he starts honking and gets all mad because I'm taking my top down. Idiot. It only takes like 10 to 15 seconds to go down. LOL

Then, I picked up little B. Well this lady honks at me when I pull to pick him up at school as she couldn't get out of the line when I pulled up. That's fine. She couldn't, so I eased my car on up. As she drove by she was saying stuff, and giving me an eat doo look, and waving her hand at me. Why do people get angry so easy?

Okay, that was my morning vent. Usually, I would just smile and wave and ignore, but I guess I'm ready to eat some food and have some wine. LOL

Ya'll have a Happy Wednesday!

I think today I'm going to do shoulders/hamstrings. I've got to throw in some abs today. I keep forgetting this week. :p

What I don't understand is that for the construction guys it's not insulting what they do, they see it as being appreciative and dont' understand when a moman is insulted of feels uneasy.

Yes sure being stared at or whistled at by a guy who has never even finished high school really lifts a woman's mood more than anything else! :saai:

Hey Hib,

It's amazing how differently you find yourself acting when you are on low calories and carbs and training so hard.

I'm usually really easy going, and I find myself getting much more easily irritated. I still keep it in check, but sometimes I have to take a breath and just chill for a second.

Competition diets are tough, and then when you throw the actions of some idiots like those on top of it, it's just about all a person can take.

Haha.. not long now though... soon you'll be eating ice cream and everything will be A - OK :nosthumbs ( me too! )

Awwww, thanks guys! I've been all happy today! Luckily, the construction dudes weren't in the neighborhood this morning for my walk! LOL Didn't run into the honking grouchy butt at the gym either.

Yep, EME -- I am sooo easy going. It's unusual for me to get irritated. I usually kill people with kindness. I guess it's easier to push my buttons right now. Luckily, I mostly am keeping it in check! How much longer for you? I'm not keeping up well. :p

LOL, Lisa. I'm glad they weren't out there today. I think I may have let them know how much they were irritating me. That probably just empowers them, so it's just as well they weren't there.

Okie dokie -- I worked out today. Decided to do chest/triceps/abs as my leggies were too sore to do hamstrings today. I'll do them on Saturday with shoulders. :p I want to make sure I get a good ham/shoulder workout. Tomorrow is off day from lifting. Yay! Friday, I think I'll hit abs and calves really hard, along with the cardio fun I always do.

Dumbbell Flat Bench Press*Haven't done these since I hurt my shoulder a few years ago.

12 reps X 25lb dbs
10 reps X 30lb dbs
8 reps X 35lb dbs
8 reps X 40lb dbs *Okay, I will start heavier next time. All those flat bench machine presses I've been doing must have made me stronger. 40lbs was my previous PB. I could have gotten 50s out today, I think.

Cable Incline Flyes*I think I've done this exercise once in my life -- at my old gym.

12 reps X 30lbs each side
10lbs X 40lbs each side
10lbs X 40lbs each side

Machine Incline Press*A different machine - -not the Hammer Strength Machine. I think it was an Icarian.

12 reps X 100lbs
10 reps X 110lbs
5 reps X 120lbs

Superset Tricep Dips with Pullover Abs

Dips

15 reps with 25lb plate in my lap
12 reps with 45lb plate in my lap
12 reps with 45lb plate in my lap

Pullover Abs

3 sets holding 20lb dumbbell x 20 reps each set

Superset Tricep Kickbacks with Ab Crunches on Bench with twist and reach at the top

Kickbacks

15 reps each arm X 15lb dumbbell
15 reps each arm X 20lb dumbbell
15 reps each arm X 20lb dumbbell

Abs

3 sets X 30 reps (15 reps each side each set)

After that, it was 45 minutes on the Stairmaster -- I did 20 minutes on my toes to work my calves. Hope that's not bad for me tootsies.

Oh, and I've had a super terrific day! I got a sweet, romantic surprise and it made me sooooo happy!! Awwwwww!

Okay, I went to the gym and did abs/calves/cardio. Man, it's time for my period -- I don't know if it will come or not -- but I feel like shit. Oopsies. I mean, I don't feel so hot!

Cable Crunches

25 reps X 70lbs
25 reps X 90lbs
20 reps X 100lbs
15 reps X 110lbs *burning!!

Seated Calves

15 reps X 135lbs
15 reps X 145lbs
10 reps X 155lbs
8 reps X 165lbs

Superset Angled Calves with Leg Press Calves

Leg Press Calves

15 reps X 405lbs X 3 sets

Angled Calves

15 reps X 135lbs X 3 sets

V-ups

4 sets X 20 reps each

After that, I did 30 minutes on the stairmaster and 15 minutes on a bike.
