Thanks Trick!

I'm especially proud of Hibby.

I've been around this block before, but this is Hibby's first show, and she has been working her butt off for months preparing. Not too many first timers put nearly as much effort into their preparations as she has. She should be very proud of her accomplishments, regardless of how well the competition goes for her. ( I'm sure she'll do great though )

Good luck Hibby!

I'll add to that sentiment, and say that not too many put in the same effort regardless of their desire to compete or not.

Thanks so much EME, Trick, 1st and DF!!

I'm a little tired. I'm about to do morning cardio, eat, see Pam at 10:30 -- she's across town. I'll see if she wants me to do the full body thing again, but I'm about all out of energy. I have to go by a mall and pick up some Mac makeup (for stage), and at 3:00, I start getting my tan on. That should be entertaining. Oh, and I have to figure out how not to get protan all over my Z-car seats. That would not be good --it's light grey leather interior.

Ya'll be good and have a fantastic day!

Hey Hib,

Pro Tan really isn't that bad about rubbing off once it dries. Just wear a light long sleeve shirt and warm up pants and your car seats will be fine. Actually, you don't even have to wear a long sleeve shirt.

I usually take off the last few days before a show, but Kendra can't always do that. She goes to work the first couple days of Pro Tan application and doesn't have any problem. You just have to make sure you give it time to dry. ( A hair dryer really helps there ).

Your also going to get more Pro Tan done tomorrow, right? How many coats are you planning on getting done?

Good luck with your final prep!

Thanks bigpoppa and Dan!!

Hi EME!

I'm getting sprayed at 3:00 today, then tomorrow at 9:00 and 1:00. I hope that will be enough. Of course, I'll take extra along. I bought Mac makeup in a couple of shades. Hope that works out. LOL

Thanks so much, Trick!!

I saw Pam today. She said we'll start my carb up tomorrow. Fun, fun.

20oz. of water sucks. LOL

Hey Hib,

That will probably be enough as long as you don't shower tonight or Friday night. Just wash your hair over the side of the bathtub and sponge wash as needed.

Do you have a bottle of Pro Tan? I'd consider having someone at your house do a coat on Friday night, and touch up on Saturday morning if you can.

We typically do about 6-8 manual sponge brush coats starting on Wednesday.

Remember, you don't want to look like you have a dark tan.. you want to look freakishly dark, because when you get on stage under those lights you'll look pale if you just have a good looking tan.

I'm a little worried that the airbrush coats aren't going to be as heavy as the sponge brush coats. Three coats will probably be fine, as long as you don't wash them off.

You're almost there! ( p.s. The carb load days are good. )

Okay, I'll remember. Be a freak. LOL I actually have 5 bottles of Protan!!! I'm such an overpreparer. I always have been. I was the type that got all the regular points on a test and the bonus points. I'm such a dork. I was definitely going to take some with me also. If the 3 airbrush coats aren't enough, I'll do another manual coat Friday night, and then touch up on Saturday morning also, if needed.

Oh, and Pam (nutrition lady) is going to get there earlier Friday evening and come check me out. She'll make sure I'm dark enough.

Cool. That's good to hear Hib.

If you need to touch up Saturday morning, get up really early and do it first so it has plenty of time to dry. Use a hair dryer if needed. Don't apply Pro Tan too close to going on stage or it will run. As long as you have a few hours for it to dry, Pro Tan does great and will usually not run at all.

Sounds like you are very prepared! Good Luck!

Thanks! Yep, I read about the running stuff. I've seen that too -- not purty at all. I'll try to get it all done right before Saturday morning.

Thanks so much! I hope everything is going great for you too!
