Holy Cow!! Look at all the familiar names!! Just found this place myself... so, what makes this forum different than the "other" one??

This one we don't have to watch out mouths as much. What I like is here if something is on sale at Nutraplanet or Big Joes or wherever we can say it. Also this is more "family" like. Pretty small and not loaded with major pimpage and such. Also I can say dick munch here

Just smaller and more intimate. Easier to get to know everyone, kinda like small town vs. big city. Oh and WAY better smilies, forum chat and much more supplement buying choices from top quality stores.

The smilies are definately much better - well, I need to hit the hay. Me and the Mrs went out and celebrated a bit too much... need to sleep it off at this point!

Welcome justtryn!!! This board is definitely like a "small town" community, which is nice. Another great feature of this board is the annual IMPC... the IronMass Physique Contest. It is a physique transformation and bodybuilding contest that is getting bigger every year. Be sure to check out the IMPC section and I'd encourage you to participate, it's a great way to keep your motivation up.

I don't know SC... not sure I'm ready for that. Motivation certainly isn't a problem for me getting to the gym. I have a feeling I'd be far out classed here. I'll ponder it, though. Does HRT throw me into the "open" class?

Thats a tough one since it probably bring you to average to slightly above average test levels. You on gel or injections? Hell I probably don't have a chance in the open but I sure as hell will be trying my damnest and talking shit all the way.

I'm using Androgel - the 5% gel packets, once a day. It takes me into the "normal" range when I have my bloodwork done. Before, I had the average numbers for a 70 year old!

Being a legitimate medical condition I don't see why you couldnt do novice.

I heard the gel is a pain in the ass and don't be laying naked like on the wife because of transfer. I personally would rather just do injectable. From my research on the subject people seem to respond better and is a much less hassle.

I've had very good luck with it, although I know others have not. The transfer issue isn't really a problem as you apply it first thing in the morning. I've read info showing that within 8 hours or so there's no transfer issues.

Hi Bill and Luke - nice to see you guys over here. I posted a few workouts and such when I was attempting to do the IMPC... but then life got in the way.

I'm still maintaining a journal "over there," but I suppose I may give migrating some serious thought. For me, journaling to keep track of what I've done or am doing is important... but equally important is keeping up the friendships I've developed. It's a pain to post in both places... what to do, what to do.

Eh, I'll figure it out.... maybe since I'm starting another round of my hybrid training, it's as good a time as any to at least double post.
