Thanks, I'll do that.

As for the cardio, I go back in the afternoon for a 30 cardio session most days. On leg day I usually just swim for 20 minutes, otherwise I switch between the stepmill, treadmill, or excercylcle. I'll try to log that more often.

Cool Don't Waste The Carbs..

Cardio Tyming man, Cardio Tyming...

I'm gonna be preaching thys until I'm blue in the face... uhm.. make that green in the face.. *D ... I want my carbs to go towards helping me get bigger... I want my cardio to target fat cells...

How do I make sure my cardio targets fat cells...??? ... By doing cardio ONLY when I'm in a depleted glycogen or depleted carb state...

But when am I in a depleted glycogen or carb state...

2. SLDL - 315/8, 315/7, 315/6, 315/6 (4:00)
3. 45* Leg Press - 730/7, 730/7, 730/7, 460/10 (3:00)
4. Leg Ext. - 110/8, 130/8, 130/8 (1:00) - Sorta "Supersetted" these with #5
5. Leg Curlz - 110/8, 130/8, 130/8 (1:00) - OK dog. I added these in, too. I'm sure I will sore hammies in the morning.
6. Hammer Squatz - 150/8, 160/8, 180/8 - This is probably overkill after regular squatz, but I really like them.
7. Alt DB Calf - 20/15, 20/12, 20/10 (1:30) - Held the contraction for a two count.
8. Calf Press - 180/12, 180/12, 180/11

End - 8:45 am

Sunday will be my first leg day at home. With no rack, reg squatz are out. I was thinking about doing hacks. Never done them before. I could also manage to do fronts. So for the next two weeks, my leg day will be a little different.

Yeah.. at one point in tyme.. I was thynkin' about rotating freeweight squats and barbell hack squats... so they'll be a nyce substitution...

What are the hammer squats tho??

And what are your set/rep goals...

Hammer Squatz are squatz in the Hammer Strength Squat Machine.

I've been going for 4 on my main exercises (Bench, DL, Squatz) but got a little carried away yesterday by doing 4 sets on the first 3. Went too long yesterday so I should really knock that off.

Armz today. Had to upgrade servers this morning so my workout will be in a few minutes. I hate working out later in the day. Could never manage a leg day in the afternoon. Yuch!

Thursday, 15 Sept--Back

1. Deadz - 225/12, 385/7, 385/6, 385/6 - (4:00) -- Moved these back to first.
2. T-Barz - 180/7, 180/7, 180/6
3. High Row - 140/8, 140/8, 140/6 - (1:30) - I'm doing these on the lat machine next to the high row. Really getting my lats and traps better.
4. Cable Pull down (close gryp) - 95/12, 95/12, 95/10 -- I decided to add these back. Did lighter weight to work on form.
4. Rear Delt Row - 135/8, 135/7, 135/6 - (2:00)
5. bw Pullups - 6, 6, 4 - (2:30) - I am so dead by the time I get here. I'm thinking I'll move pullups back to the top like I did last spring.

Cardio - 20 min bike

Sunday, 18 Sept -- Legz

Hack Squatz - 135/10, 225/8, 225/8, 225/7 (4:00) I'd like to do these on a step. My long forarms keep me from going as low as I'd like.
SLDL - 135/10, 315/8, 315/8, 315/7
DB Step-up - 40/8, 40/8, 40/8 - I need to go a few inches higher since my legs are so long. I'll try to rig up a couple of 4x4s under the bench before sat.
Leg Ext. - 8/110, 8/110, 7/110
leg curz - 8/60, 8/60, 8/60
DB calf raise - 15/20, 15/20, 15/20
Wife calf raise - 15, 15, 14

So much for leg day @ home. Not as good as at the gym. I'll have to get a power rack soon.

Crazy day. I'm a bit short of rest which explains why I sucked at flat bench, but why then, did I pick up 20 pounds and 2 reps at decline? Go figure.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted. Thankfully, not quite so long since I worked out--but close. I didn't post the last week of Sept as my computer died (didn't that happen to you, too dawg?) Then my youngest needed surgery and about 10 days just vanished into thin air. Now I'm living like a single parent, while he and my wife are in one place recovering, and I'm back home with the other two. Dayum. How do single parents do this!?!? On top of this I've had the flu for the lat week, but it's pretty much gone now so I'll hit the gym tomorrow and cry over my lost strength. My diet has been miserable. I have no idea how much weight I've lost, but I'm pretty sure I'm under 215. At least *some* of it was fat. :o

Oh well. Back at it tomorrow with a nice chest day.
