As for the video, I guess our server doesn't like that whole "file sharing" thing, because I was blocked several times from uploading it. I've got friend that's pretty 'net savvy working the issue for me, but it'll have to wait for right now. Anyhows here's how today went: BB Row: 135 x 15, 185 x 10 for two sets, 185 x 8 for two sets Shrugs: 225 x 10, 275 x 10, 315 x 10, 315 x 8 for two more sets DB Row: 60 x 10, 80 x 10, 100 x 6 for three sets Sadly, that's all I had time for today. Went out and did a mission yesterday, got one I'm leaving on in about 4 hours, returning around 2 a.m., and leaving out again about 4 hours later.......and the hits just keep on coming. Hopefully, I'll get back in the gym on the 28th.....see ya when I see ya.

Got back in today for the first time in five days...worked legs: Squat: 135 x 12, 225 x 10, 315 x 10, 405 x 8, 495 x 5 (stupid me wore a tank top...so now I've got a nice "bar hickey" on my back...oh the shower will feel so good) BB Calf Raises: 225 x 15, 275 x 12 for two sets, 275 x 10 for two sets Rev Leg Curl: 90 x 10, 140 x 10, 160 x 8, 180 x 8, 190 x 6 Leg Ext: 90 x 10, 180 x 10, 225 x 8, 250 x 8 That's it for today. On a more somber note....a very good friend of mine and former teammate years ago, died last weekend after an intense firefight. Unfortunately, when it started I happened to be near the radio and heard it all unfold...he was a Tm Sgt like I am, a devoted husband and father. His name was Tom and I would appreciate any who believe to keep his family in your prayers during this most difficult time. As for me and my team, we flew out and hit a target hours after this had happened...we remembered him in a way he would have approved of.

Here's the numbers: DB Mil Press: 30 x 12, 45 x 10, 60 x 10, 75 x 6 for two sets Front DB Raise: 20 x 10, 25 x 10, 30 x 10, 35 x 8 for two sets Side Lat: 20 x 10, 25 x 10, 30 x 10 for three sets Lying Side Lat: 20 x 10, 25 x 10, 30 x 10 for three sets Flat Bench: 135 x 10, 225 x 10, 275 x 8, 315 x 3, 315 x 2 Gonna try and hit bi's and tri's in about an hour.

As for the beer...no such luck. See we can fight for their freedom...just can't enjoy our own in a muslim country...that would offend them...I guess killin' them's okay though. Sorry...thus ends my rant.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | My training partner has been gunning for my record and warned me last week when he doubled my reps at 495 that he was going to match my previous high of 525 on the squat. All week the PSYOP game has been played. And although I knew today he wasn't going to be able to go heavy because of chest congestion...I walked into the gym prepared to crush him. Here's how it went: Leg Ext: 90 x 12, 180 x 10, 225 x 9, 270 x 5 for two sets Squat: 135 x 10, 225 x 8, 315 x 8, 405 x 6, 495 x 5 At this point he tells me he can't do 495 today. Then the conversation looked like this: Me: "Just because I'm 41, there's still the heart of a Green Beret beating inside." Him: "It's ineviteable...it's only a matter of time." Me: "You may beat me...but it won't be today...and it won't be without a fight...school's in session." 550 lbs for 4 reps! NEW RECORD!...and 55 lbs over his previous best After that we did BB calf raises: 225 x 12, 275 x 10 for four sets.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | Hey first! Thanks for stopping by my journal. I must say I am amazed at how well you seem to be doing over there. I am glad DH doesn't have to go (medical reason) and don't know what I would do if they decide to send him anyway. He is a 250N (networking) so no real combat here, but you still hear too many things about the little guys getting ambushed. I cannot imagine what I would feel like if he would be on missions like you are. I am trying to keep my diet as clean as possible, but over the past few days (we went camping) it was anything but clean. Too many Moolattes from DQ and too much beer and take out. I hope you have a happy 4th today. We will actually go fishing today, but not party too hard since DH has to be at work at 3am to get the guys off to NTC. Take care and be safe!
