Default Tuesday was Heavy Lower Body Day


Well... that is what I should have been doing, but I am just recovering after a 10 days off with a cold. So I just put myself throught the paces for a leg day.

I warmed up on a max inclined treadmill for 15 minutes.

Squat machine,
1 x 135 x 12
1 x 225 x 10
6 x 315 x 6

Leg Extentions
1 x 80 x 16
1 x 90 x 12
1 x 100 x 10
1 x 110 x 8
1 x 120 x 8

Leg Curls
6 x 130 x 8

Stability Ball crunches
1 x bw x 10 minutes

I have gained some LBM, and I am now cutting again. (I threw all of my >34" pants away, so now it is time to get back into <34" pants again. ) See below, I am now cutting until June.

Awesome job, Rad! So with your 10 days off being sick, you didn't lose any progress? I'm sure if anything, it helped you to lose some pounds, but hopefully not your hard earned muscle. Rip it up, baby!

I pretty much maintained while I was sick. I did some isometrics, slept a good bit and ate what I needed. If anything, I gained a little muscle from the rest and good eating. I am going to rip it up, :hellyea:

I am still just getting my body acclimated to being off for a week.

During your cutting phase.. do you still sip on a protein shake during your workout??

I just read somethyng (believe it or not) ... about consuming any carbs whyle working out, decreases the amount of fat cells the body will use for energy ... just a thought if you ever feel you aren't making the progress you should..

But you're styll the master.. I've seen your weight go up and down more than Pamela Anderson Lee's head on a boat..

I use protein and water whether I am cutting or bulking while I work out.

I did some gatoraid with protein for a period of time, but I stopped because I didn't feel good drinking sugar. I drink a shake while working out because the body goes catabolic fairly quickly under heavy stress. If I have protein in my system when that happens, the dietary protein has got to be readily assimilable, unlike the lean muscle mass. (In theory, per me. ) If it stops working I'll change it.

I did get the visual, but it wasn't pretty.
