Default Sunday was Chest Day


I am feeling better today, NS. Thanks for the kind words.

After 4 days off, I had to see how well I could do in the gym. I decided to do a heavy day, but it would have to be brief. Here is what I did:

BB Flat Bench Press,
2 x 135 x 12
1 x 185 x 10
1 x 195 x 8
1 x 205 x 7
1 x 215 x 6
1 x 225 x 6 {PB}

BB Inclined Bench Press,
3 x 135 x 15

Pec Deck
3 x 80 x 10

I was feeling pretty wiped out. I am going to take tomorrow off and see how things are on Tuesday.

I only had one Sunday Chest Day, not three in a row as displayed above.

My "ailment" manifested itself as a common cold. I got the sniffles and cough yesterday. I took off on Monday and made a pot of Spicy Thai Chicken Noodle soup. I didn't have rice noodles, so I used spaghetti. I did this in a slow cooker for 8 hours. I decided on this soup because of the ingredients in the recipe. It was loaded with curry and hot peppers. Both good for combating a cold.

As for Tuesday's Leg Day, I am not sure yet. Right now I feel pretty good.

I am getting there. Not quite 100% though. I had strength but my stamina just wasn't there today. Here is what I did.

Box Squats to parallel,

3 x 225 x 8 (I was gasping for air after this one.)

Leg Press Sled,

1 x 450 x 8

I am going to sleep good tonight.

Tomorrow is a rest day (with massage) and Thursday is an upper body day. My cold symptoms are gone. I am just tired. I should be good to go for a 100% workout on Thursday.

Hi guys. I am definitely over whatever it was that I had. I was not in PB territory today, but that is ok, it was a good workout.

Supersets, alternating SL Deadlifts and Sumo Deadlifts
3 x 135 x 8
3 x 225 x 6
2 x 315 x 2

Pullups
1 x bw x 8 wide grip
1 x bw x 7 hammer grip
1 x bw x 7 chin grip

Seated Cable Rows
3 x 180 x 10

Shrugs,
5 x 135 x 30

Some guy came up to me today and asked how I got my traps to "bump out like that". I had just finish doing shrugs in front of the mirror and thought to myself, you know... you are starting to get some traps on ya, finally, after 3 years of shrugs. I told him to shrug, high rep and low reps and it will eventually come. It was nice hearing that someone had noticed it.
