JJ, the nice thing about it is if you gain too much, you just skip a refeed day until you lose that extra lb.

Re: that chicken corn soup....YUM! Was that a chowder or a clear soup? Did you buy it or make it? I enjoy Campbell's Chicken Corn Chowder. I had 1/2 can of that on my refeed yesterday.

Do you ever do T-bar rows for your lats? They're one of my fav exercises, if I can find a proper set up. Good make up workout

This is a clear soup. It starts with a chicken in a pot. My wife made it.

I do T-bar rows. Not one of my favorites, but I do them to shake things up every couple of weeks.

I've really been enjoying the horizontal bent over rowz that my 5x5 has me doing. I'd never done them before, but it's harder to cheat than DB rowz.

Default Monday was Shoulders and Abs Day

Hey Rasp! I haven't done bent over rows for some time. I'll give that a try. When I look in the hand mirror in front of my vanity mirror with a double bi pose, I see wide but short lats. I think I need to do something differently. Do you know of anything that hits the lower lats more than the upper?

Monday is a light day.

Super sets
Seated bent over rear delt raises,
Standing front delt raises,
5 x 25s x 8

Upright BB rows, 5 x 95 x 16
Standing Overhead Presses, 5 x 65 x 12

Stability Ball Crunches, 20 minutes

The combination of eating more for my bulk and not doing cardio is producing a definite thickening of the mid section. I am going to go easy for the next few days. I don't want to blimp up like I did on my last bulk.

To reiterate a local BB friend of mine once told me: When bulking keep your carbs limited to before and after workouts only. All other meals
should consist of veg and protein if looking to bulk without gaining a lot of fat. Raspy also said (in my journal) that he had followed a smiliar plan when previously bulking. Just a thought

Yep, oatmeal and berries pre and pasta or potato post. After that boccoli, cauliflower, aspargus or a salad and protein in all meals.

I just screwed up yesterday and ate a hot Italian sausage on a hot dog roll with potato chips at 3 in the morning. This is supposed to be a clean bulk. Talk about bloat. I did much better today.

Hahaha! I dropped 4 lbs this a.m. Hot Italian sausages and potato chips just cause water retention. Just can't do it every night.
