Default Tuesday is Leg Day

Squats, 3 x 135 x 20
SL Deadlifts, 1 x 135 x 20, 1 x 185 x 12. 1 x 235 x 10
Leg Press Machine, 1 x 270 x 12, 1 x 360 x 10

I hope I get over this damned cold soon. I am tired of panting for 3 - 5 minutes after each set. This workout took me over an hour. It was only 8 sets.

Thanks, Hibbie! Today is my day-off from the gym. Tomorrow is another Chest day, then Friday is another day off. I hope by Saturday I am ready to up the weights. I am hopefull, last night was the first night that I didn't sleep for 10 hours. I am off the Dayquil and Nitequil too. (goofy syrup )

Default Wednesday is my weight lifting day off...

but my wife was bugging me all morning to do things, so I went to the gym to get some peace.

Treadmill, 1.75 miles in 30 minutes. (I changed the machine to get my heart rate up for a couple of minutes and it went wild. It said my heart rate was only 62 bpm and it cranked up the incline to the max. My heart was pounding but it thought my heat had stopped. I did a reset and finished my brisk walk. )

Stability ball, I did 3 sets of crunches, 3 sets of bridges holding for 60 seconds and 3 sets of cobras.
Bench leg raises, 2 sets of leg raises for 20 reps
Oblique machine, I did 2 sets of 20 reps at 70 lbs.
Cable chops, 2 sets of 40 lbs x 20
Cable reverse chops, 2 sets of 40 lbs x 20
Cable neutral chops, 2 sets of 40 lbs x 20

I was looking pale so I hit the tanning booth for 10 minutes.

I am into working my core right now. Not bad for a day off. (I am feeling much better.)

Tomorrow is Chest, shoulders and tricep Day. Sometime during the next day or so I am going to break through 190 lbs. A few people mentioned that I am looking slimmer. Hahahah slim at 191 lbs. It is all good.

Hi Rad! I finally had some time to browse the site (I know, I Mod here ) and saw your log. I want to say that you truly are a motivation and your log is excellent! Thanks for all the work and the great recipes. Keep it up.........people like yourself are what makes this site fantastic!

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps

DB Flat Bench, 1 x 50s x 20, 1 x 55s x 20, 2 x 60 x 10
Inclined Flyes, 2 x 35s x 20
Pec Deck 2 x 50 x 20
DBs for shoulders, various
Upright Rows, 2 x 65 x 20, very slow
Cable work for shoulders, various
Triceps pushdowns, 2 x 45 x 20
Triceps ropepulls, 2 x 40 x 20

I did 30 minutes on the treadmill. I walked most of the time, but did several 1 minute jogs. I want to increase my lung capacity so that I can jog again. (I am an ex-smoker.) I am not sure I will be able to do it, but it is worth the effort.

Tomorrow I begin moderate reps (6-10) and heavier weight. I still want to lose 4 more lbs, then I can begin a bulk cycle.
