Wow, did Old Man Winter get nasty or what!? I spent like three hours shoveling snow yesterday and didn't have to work two days of this week. Somehow or other, I tweaked my shoulder with all of the shoveling and it screwed my shoulder work today. I just went light to get some blood pumped into the area. Between being sickly and having some things going on with my family I did get some workouts in on occasion. It is looking like I can focus on lifting once again...Going with an abbreviated routine and hope to push my numbers back up quickly that way. Monday's WO: Flat Bench 225x6 225x6 225x6 Seated Militaries (disappointed with these) 110x6 110x6 CGBP 155x10 155x10 155x10 Today's WO: WG Pullups BWx9 BWx8 1 Arm DB Rows 100x6 100x6 EZ Bar Curls 80x10 80x10 Cable Crunches 80x10 80x10 I plan on rotating both exercises and order of the exercises from week to week. Another thought was doing a heavy week (6-8 reps) and going light (10-12 reps) the following week...or combining both rep schemes into each workout? How about staying heavy until I hit the wall and deloading with a week or two of 12-15 reps? Enough questions for now...LOL. Y'all have a good night! |

| Silver Member | whatever you do dex just make sure that you give ample recovery time to each muscle worked(and of course nutrition). for instance : i will work chest on monday and won't do it again til friday...and i only do one chest movement per workout using rest pause. i think the recovery time u allow ur muscle is the key. so use whatever feels right to u but keep the recovery in mind. i would also like to say that i am glad to see you posting whether it be frequent or not.....we all know the curves that can keep us from our routine and our posting....keep up the training and hope to see you here when you can make it. |
