Close Grip Pulldown - haven't done these in ages

3x8 @75

Close Grip Bench Press
1x8 w/bar
1x8 @ 10+bar
2x8 @25+bar - Personal best here. I'd been spooked on this movement ever since I pinned myself with the bar doing a set of 3 with 25lbs. Today I finally got the nerve to try it again and I got 2 sets of 8 this time. Yay me, lol.

Seated lateral raises
4x8 @12.5 I seem to be stuck here.

Upright Row w/EZ Curl bar
3x8 @50

DB Curls
3x8 @20 I had no motivation here. Not sure why.

I can't convice DF enough how good his day will be afterwards. I can't get him to think past " 'activities' cause a sharp drop in T levels".

I'm telling you he's all for his workouts. So I don't need any more guys backing him up!!! (even if it is true! )

Thank goodness he doesn't work out everyday!!

I just may try that myself when I feel like getting even..."Oh hunny not today...not tomorrow either...not this week and the next...I have to train and do cardio every day and my workouts will suck".

But, Alas...I know that would never work cause for 1. I'm not a nun.
2. my libido is higher now than ever.
and 3. DF is just too damn hot to resist.

In an attempt to reclaim my journal, I am posting a workout. I am finally back in the gym after my week off.

Day 1 of the new routine. I am doing a split like this:

day 1 - Vertical push/pull
day 2 - quads
day 3 - off
day 4 - horizontal push/pull
day 5 - hamstrings



Lat pulldowns
4x8 @ 75

Iso-Lateral Shoulder Press
2x8 @60
2x8 @65 <---- moved up

Face Pulls
1x8 @60
3x8 @70 <---- moved up

Triceps Extension w/DB
4x8 @ 25
I really need a 27.5 here, as 25 is not quite challenging enough but 30 is too much.

Seated Lateral Raises
4x8 @ 12.3 <---- think I might be ready to move to 15.

A few crunches.
