Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Definately! I won a Trek 21 speed Mtn bike at the local beer warehouse. Then I bought my son and daughter Mtn bikes for their B-Days. We try to ride several times per week and go on long cruise's on the week ends. Great cardio(can I say that word here?). Here in Pgh the weather is approaching the 70's and the smells of spring are fantastic riding on a bycycle. It's almost as good as riding a motorcycle but a little more work involved!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Went out yesterday and rode 9 miles on the trails, Man what a workout MTN bikes are. My legs are building up really nice getting muscle and shape I never had from weight training. Gut is slowly going down as well. Anyone who has never rode a MTN bike on a trail not on the street should give it a try. Some of the veiws of streams and waterfalls Ive seen are great. I keep forgetting the damn camera LOL. Just means I need to ride those trails again Shawn |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Living close to Moab (mnt bike capital of the world) its hard not to be into mnt biking. I've also road my mnt bike on two major runs down the west coast. Last summer my son and I rode 700 miles down the coast from Canada to Calif. Here's a link to the pictures of that if anyone interested. http://groups.msn.com/Bikingthewestcoast |

Around here it's just flat and there's not a lot of places to go mtn biking other than just farm roads in the country.

LOL They're always asking me where I got it when I ride it at the beach. :p It has a silver partner/male bike called Clyde. :p |

| Fast guy in training | i used to go biking all the time in high school. i had a schwinn mountain bike {with the front shocks } that i would take into the woods behind the school and i had a bmx bike i would try to do my "tricks" on. but by far i loved the mountain bike, theres nothing like flying down hills or jumping gaps but now she needs a little work before i can go back out there![]() |

If and When I get rid of another 30 lbs then maybe a road bike but just to keep me in shape for the MTB. The only problem I have with MTB is it takes me awhile to get all the gear together then I have to drive 15 - 40 min. to get to the good trails But I love it.Shawn

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | Nice Bianchi Hibiscus! I used to be into MTN biking. I had a Specialized Stumpjumper Pro. It was fun, but after several falls and scars I switched to road. I like road biking a lot. Passing cars with a bike is a lot of fun! I do racing and stuff with the road bike. It is great for cardio. I always have fun racing the neighborhood kids...I go easy on them. I would recommend everyone to start biking. It is a nice low-impact form of cardio. I can't run because I have flat feet .Picture is of my baby. |
