| Soldier In Progress | What made you become a DC'er? For me, it was the way Dante said everything. Straight foreward, no sugar coated bullshit to deal with. And the fact it's tried and true, says EVERYTHING everone else says (lotsa food, big weights ...), only he put it together in such a fashion that made it all make sense as a whole, not individual pieces that said the same B.S. only in a different way. That's pretty vague, but I'm sure you get the jist of it?

I was down to a "heavy duty/Dorian/Arthur Jones frame of mind and couldn't exactly put my finger on what would be the best. This was the thing that I struggled coming to terms with as for me and some people I trained were hitting walls much sooner that what Dante's program showed. His rest pause and rotation of exercises are some of the things I like the best of the program. I actually love the whole package though. How to work around hitting walls is a great aspect too. I was lacking in food knowledge and learned some valuable lessons from him. To this day I'm still learning. jim

| Pro Stature | I agree with Sholiz, what interested me in it was that he put all of the elements of bbing into one easy manual |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 62 | I decided to try it because I wanted a change in my routine. On paper, a lot of workout philosophies make sense. You only know if something works for YOU after you give it a try. So far I like it and I'm going to stick with it and give DC a fair chance before I decide if it's for me. The philosophies behind it do seem to make more sense and I like the idea of every exercise being "first" so to speak in my workout. I no longer have to do decline bench after incline, it is the sole focus of my chest training when I do it. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Khan, You forgot the granddaddy of all stupid DC questions... "IS IT OK TO DO DOGGCRAPP TRAINING IF IM NOT ON GEAR???????" Now back to the thread. I found CFP on Animals board where it all started. Started reading and reading and a lot of it was like a sledgehammer to the head. It just made sense. I was totally stuck with what I was doing. Just wasnt getting anywhere. Like a lot of other people I didnt think 1 rest/pause set was going to be enough. So I decided to just try a few of them and see what happened. Normally for biceps I would do 2 exercises of maybe 3 sets each. After doing one rest/pause set my arms hurt so bad the next day I couldnt straighten them out. I had T-rex syndrome. The only way your arms dont hurt is if you hold them like a T-rex. After that I thought ya know, this crazy shit might just work. I liked the idea of having 6 unique workouts which besides from promoting more growth just keeps things interesting. Remember boys and girls a LOT of this is in your head. I used to come to the gym a little bored. Ho hum..here I go with my 9 sets for chest same as last time. Now I am fighting for survival trying to beat the logbook. Never gets boring. And just when you start to get a little fried on an exercise its time to change it. I like the cruises too. So after training on my own for like a month I contacted Big Sexy himself and after forcing me to send him pictures of myself dressed in a schoolgirl outfit he agreed to take me on as a trainee. And its been a roller coaster ride through Hell ever since. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Only on here JP. I've noticed most of the really huge guys have a good sense of humor since they really dont have to prove anything to anyone. Its the little ****ers you gotta watch for. How cool is it though that In-Human has managed to scare people via the internet? Thats pretty good. We love ya IH! Keep scaring the crap out of everybody!! BTW, aside from "Big Sexy" he also likes "The Mountain of Molten Lust". Thats how I got him to accept me as a trainee in the first place. |
