Hello and happy fathers day to all the fathers at iron mass.

My questions is-- when the exercise state 11-15 RP, does that mean 11-15 reps on the first RP set, or is that a total of all three RP sets?

11 would be easily denoted as 6-3-2 ...

Just push yourself as far as possible for each set, then tally up the numbers. There's no "set" range, everyones body reacts different. For me, 13-17RP works best for chest exercises while some need even lower volume than that.
