Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I'm new here. I compete in powerlifting but want to add some mass. My question is has anyone ever modified DC to use for powerlifting? If not is there anyone who would be interested in discussing this to set up a training program? Someone who is knowledgeable about the Westside methods would be preferable. |

| Pro Stature | I don't think anything can beat Westside in terms of powerlifting. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I agree. What i was thinking of doing was basically the WSB template but incorporating DC principles into it. It would mainly be used for assistance work. ME bench press stuff would replace chest and ME squat exercises would replace quads. With WSB you should rotate exercises often or when you fail to make progress...the same goes for DC. There are a lot of similarities. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | both use conjugate periodization. I think doing a rest-pause for your big three lifts might be usefull for your ME. The only real issue I see is keeping the rep ranges low enough to stay in a 3-5 rep max mode. Keep the dynamic work the same.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Well DC training is "power building" meaning gaining muscle mass through constant progressive strength gains. You will get stronger doing the program, but you would best benefit if you choose to do DC for a while then switch to Westside or a powerlifting program. I think trying to modify to help the PW can take away from the progress, but I am no expert just my 2 cents |
