Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | hi i was thinking of starting a dc programme in a few weeks to see how it goes... the only problem i have right now is that i am a personal trainer and teach a number of classes of bodypump a week...body pump is basically a barbell workout to music..it has ten tracks each track with an exercise usually squats,chest press,back which has clean and presses and rows,triceps iso work, biceps iso work shoulders and abs these classes are high intensity hi rep with a lowish weight..will this totally **** up the recovery process if i m training DC as well...from what i ve read in dc its like a body part once every 4 days... if i m hitting it again with body pump inbetween surely it will feck up recovery |

it is...its quite alot in it actually..i think its bad unless as part of the programme..teaching it is another story.. i think it tears the muscle pretty bad and doesnt give it much to recover for..the group is good...they have alot of things i like (core stability,functional training) but if your an athlete...FORGET IT thanks dude..i ll have to stick with push pull systems to keep me going.. | |
