I know Dante loves olive oil, but only before 6pm. (Is this correct?) How many servings or tbsps of olive oil should I get getting daily? I weigh 155.

I'm pretty sure he reccomends 1-3 teaspoons a day right before 6pm or carb cutoff I believe

Yep, 1-3 range. Not sure about the cutoff. Shit I have carbs at 10:30 pm. I don't use cutoffs. But again, Skip made my diet.

Tablespoon. Here's an easy way to remember it, or at least its how I remember it. A table is big, and a glass of tea is small, ok? Table spoons are bigger 14g of fat in atablespoon of olive oil btw.

Thanks a lot Shilling. I guess I'll go with 2 tbsps per day seeing as how I have a fast metablism. One in the morning for sure. What would the best time be to take the other tbsp?

LOL @ Barry Bonds. If you read that post though, Dante later contradicts that statement and I've seen many other people taking in 2g that train naturally.

Yeah I know. I got months ahead of me until I even consider it. I just want to make the best possible diet and routine I can in the meantime without shelling out 500 bucks. lol

Get at least 1.5g, but 2.0g is not out of the question for natural trainees. Personally, the 2g/lb helps me quite a bit when bulking. It all depends on how much protein your body can absorb at one time. If you haven't been consuming that quantity of protein before your body will probably pass a lot of it through your system. Maybe a good idea would be to start at around 1.5g and up it to 2g over time.

Yeah I think it would be a good idea to start there too. Thanks for your input. I read DCers are supposed to get 80-120g protein immediately post workout. Now I weight 155 so I would be on the low end of that. Should I get 80g post workout? I posted this at IM but I highly doubt I'll get a good answer.

In all honestly, that sounds like overkill to me. For your bodyweight I'd recommend taking 2 scoops of whey in water immediately post-workout with some simple carbs and then eating your largest meal of the day 30-60 minutes after that.

If you are going to use dextrose post-workout and eat your largest meal of the day shortly thereafter I'd recommend dropping the oats. They slow down the digestive process. I don't use high GI carbs post-workout anymore, but using both high GI and slow GI mixed seems counterproductive to me. Pick 1 and stick with it, and for DC I'd recommend sticking with the high GI and eating that huge meal as soon as possible after your post-workout shake.

Alright. Well what should it look like as far as carbs go? Maybe 40 dex and 2 bananas? I plan on getting 250g per day or 1.6g/lb. Over 6 meals this would be 42g of protein per meal. Not too bad I must say. Also this is my eating schedule I have planned out. What do you think of it?

Meal 1 7:00

Meal 2 11:00

Snack 3:00

WORKOUT 3:30

Meal 3 5:00 (PWO)

Meal 4 6:00

Meal 5 8:00

Meal 6 10:00
