Shilling in DC's program he doesn't have people doing two sets "usually". Any time you can add weight to an exercise and/or beat the reps.....that's progress.

Shilling, just so I understand what you are thinking.....if you read the thread I made, "For less advanced members" it's MY suggestions, not DC's. I am just trying to give some members a way to make gains even though they aren't advanced enough for Dante's program. Pssss, don't tell them about my pink Elton John hat or my Olivia Newton John's workout tape where she sings, "Physical". Maybe I ought to throw in some Culture Club and get rid of my Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains and Queensryche music, hmmmm. Toughnuts, yes it was the bench, lol. I said, I've thoroughly read EVERY aspect of DC's training and then I listed the bench press as the first exercise. Just when you think you know the answers.......... Now........someone can bench if they feel strongly about it but there's suggestions as to how to do it, rep ranges, etc.
