Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Dante gave the example of volume training.. saying that each workout makes your chest grow a hypothetical 1/64th inch... 1 year that = 52/64 inch gain, which isn't bad -- but he's saying that with his method you get 130 growth phases.. but this is also assuming they're still 1/64th inch growth each time you do it, which accounts for his theoretical 2.5x the growth rate of a volume trainer But if you grow that much w/ volume training, and need a weeks rest, verses you're putting the muscle under the same stress to get equal growth, how come you only have to wait.. 3 days between workouts like you do in DC before you would do chest again? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | That was close but I re-read some of Dante's posts again and I think my question is answered. The reason for the 7 day recovery period is because of the high volume -- whereas the intensity is so high compared to high volume training no more sets are needed. |
