Who will win the Olympia after Ronnie retires? - Page 2

Hey Fred.

We had tickets to the seminar, but we didn't go because Kendra had photo shoots scheduled that Sunday morning.

Kendra and I will be at the Molecular Nutrition booth at the Arnold Expo all weekend. Be sure to come by and say Hi!

I don't think anyone mentioned Victor Martinez.

Although he's been very inconsistent.......I could see him winning for 2 reasons.

First, when he's in shape, he's got the most asthetic body on stage. (More so than Dexter, IMO). Secondly, his victory would be a statement that the mass monsters no longer rule with absolute authority. I can kind of understand the judges not wanting to make such a statement in the middle of Ronnie's reign, but when Ronnie retires, it will be the IFBB's chance to make a change.

He is definitely inconsistent but if he could bring it together... he could be the next one... I just don't know if that will ever happen...

This is a tough call. I am a big Cutler fan and I think he will take the crown. He will take it when Ronnie leaves. He has the size and conditioning to win. Dexter Jackson is a great bodybuilder and he has an outstanding physique. Branch is a monster. He will be great in the next couple years. Gustavo is not that far behind Jay. It is a tough call to make.

Personally i think that either Branch Warren, Dexter Jackson, or Gustavo Baddel will be the best after Ronnie Retires. I don't think Jay will be, simply because he never looks as conditioned on stage as the other guys. However, I still think that Jay or Gustavo will win after ronnie retires.

i agree. don't think jay will even compete long after he wins one olympia. i saw in a mag last week where he said winning the olympia is all that he has left to do in the sport.

i personally like branch's legs better- but branch is my favorite bb.
i'll be at the arnold- i think i'll just be at the expo on either saturday or sunday though. i'll be wearing my ironmass t. :rock:

I will be at the arnold on friday and saturday. I want to be there friday because most of the pros that compete on saturday will be at the expo friday. I am looking forward to trying to meet Darrem Charles who has now signed with Muscletech!

I will be wearing my ironmass T one of the days, and probably my arnold is numero uno shirt the other!

on the same lines as victor is chris cormier can ever get it totally together he is the next mr. olympia, chris has the best lines in bodybuilding, he just has to bring the conditioning to the next level, he should have won the arnold a couple of times (jay luckily beats him somehow, even when dorian himself has jay in third place). chris is the complete bodybuiler IMHO.

I think Ronnie will win until he retires, then I predict they will change the judging criteria so guys like Dexter Jackson, Lee Priest, Dareem Charles etc. will have a much better shot at the O... I honestly don't think Jay has much of a chance at winning.
I think it will be a good thing for the sport too......
